Katie's POV
My phone dings with the default sound for a text from an unknown number.
??: Hey this is Taehyung, I snooped into Jungkooks phone to find your number. He told all of us we couldn't talk to you for like 3 days
Me: Well, aren't you a rebel.
Taehyung: Yes. When are you going to come visit again?
Me: I'm not sure I guess just whenever Jungkook wants to hang out again but he'll probably come to my apartment until he wants me around everyone again.
Taehyung: Boo. Jungkook sucks.
Me: Yeah he's just really overprotective. I don't have siblings so he's always taken the big brother role.
Taehyung: Yeah I understand but I feel like he's being TOO overprotective.
Me: Just let him bring me around a couple more times until he feels like you guys are used to me and then it'll die down.
Taehyung: I hope so.
Me: Me too.
My doorbell rings and I look to the screen that shows me who it is. Jungkook. I open the door immediately.
"Jungkook! You were just here? Decided to stay?" I greet him as he enters my home
"Katie!" He greets as he hugs me. "I hope it's okay I came back. The boys were being annoying and asking when you'd be back in our groupchat." He says pulling his face mask down.
"Well I don't mind going back over there. I think your friends are nice and funny."
"But that's not happening."
"Why?" I ask with a pout.
"Because they ask about you too much because they like you." He says ruffling my hair while walking to the couch.
"Well do you want them to hate me?" I ask following him.
"They'll never hate you. I just want them to act normal. "
"They seem pretty normal to me." I say throwing my legs across his lap.
"Well, I guess it's not all the boys. Just one. He's so crazy. Aish. It's annoying." He says rolling his eyes.
"Who? Taehyung?" I ask holding my phone tightly in my hand.
"Yes. It's because he likes you so much but I don't want him to."
"Kookie. You knew this before I even came back from school. You can't help who people like."
"I know." He says holding his head down not making eye contact.
"And I like him back so stop being so overprotective. I know you just don't want them to hurt me but I doubt any of them would ever think about it because you'd beat them up but they're also all very sweet."
"It's not just that noona! They do not deserve you!" He says emphasizing deserve.
"Don't call me noona. You always do that when you want something."
"Or when I really care about you."
"Yahh Jungkook. Don't you want me to be happy?"
"Of course."
"Then let me be around your friends."
"Fine." He says being stubborn.
"Do you want to watch a movie?"
"Yeah, I guess." He says looking towards the TV avoiding my gaze. I sigh sitting in front of my pile of movies trying to find a good one. buzz I hear my phone buzz on the couch and hope Jungkook doesn't see it's Taehyung.
