"Your hair looks fine, leave it alone." I tell Leilani for the 7th time.
"No, there's something wrong with it."
"Let it go." I say.
"Let it go, let it go." She starts to sing the song from Frozen.
"Ugh." I groan and walk to my cupboard.
"I'm sowwy Jessie." Leilani follows me.
"It's okay." I laugh.
We decided to go to the local swimming pool. I'm dressed in one of those playsuit things that are like shorts and a singlet sewn together, and a pair of sandals. Leilani's wearing a simple singlet and shorts with vans. I tie my hair into a high ponytail and we drive to the pool.
We go to the change room and into the stalls. I change into my rainbow bikini top and black bottoms and meet Leilani outside. We walk to the pools and hop in.
"Brrrrrrrr. It's cold." I say.
There's no answer. Leilani's off swimming down the other end of the pool. We don't leave until 3 pm and by the time we get back to my house, it's 4.
I turn my phone on and there's another 4 calls from Niall. I decide the only way to stop him from calling is to speak to him, so I dial his number.
Jess?
Yes.
Jess, I'm so sorry.
It's alright Niall. Trust me, just forget about it.
Can we be friends?
Yeah.
Good, actually great. I can hear what sounds like relief in his voice. Listen, there's a party at my Louis' house tonight. You and Leilani should come.
I look at Leilani across the room, because if she doesn't go then I won't. She's been hearing everything that's being said, because she made me put it on loud speaker. She nods really fast.
Sure, we'll be there. Wait, will Harry be there?
Yeah. Leilani grins.
Okay, what time?
Starts at 6, I'll text you the address.
Okay, bye.
Bye.
I hang up and true to his word, less than a minute later, Niall texts me the address.
"So..." I turn to Lani. "Shall we get ready?"

Zoe's POV
"Ugh. I can't find a job anywhere." I say to Ashton.
"Awww, it's okay." He comes and hugs me. I hug him back.
"No. I need to find a job somewhere!"
"Hey, I have an idea!" Ashton says.
I look up at him. "What?"
"How about I ask my boss if there's a job going at my work?"
"Where do you work?"
"The movies."
"You would do that?"
"Of course." He says, pinching my cheek. I slap his arm.
"Don't do that, that hurts." I pout.
"Nawww, you're so cute." I blush and he smirks.
"Are you going to the party at Lou's house tonight?" I ask him to try and change the subject.
"Yeah, are you?"
"Yeah, I should probably go home now and get ready."
"Alright." He pouts. I hug him on my way out the door and make my way home so I can get ready.

Jess' POV
I look at our outfits. I'm wearing a red crop top that comes to just above my belly button, black high waited shorts, red pumps and a different belly piercing in. Leilani's wearing a crop top, disco high waisted shorts and low top white converse.
"Are you sure about this?" I ask Leilani, fiddling with my shorts.
"Positive. Come on, it'll be fine." We walk into the bathroom and I decide to curl my hair. Leilani also curls her hair and when we're done, we start on makeup. Leilani ends up doing mine. It's a bit more than I usually wear, but I like it. It actually makes me look alright, well I don't know the right word, umm, it makes me look...
"Sexy." Leilani says, admiring her work. Her makeups already done, and she looks perfect as always. I look at my phone.
"Crap! Lani it's already a quarter to 6."
"Calm down, no one's there on time at a high school party." She reassures me. "Well, only a couple of people."
I blush at that. I haven't been to a party since I was in year 5. "Sorry."
"Surely you would've known that only a couple of people would be there."
Once again, I feel blood rush to my cheeks.
"Jess? Please tell me you've been to a high school party?"
I don't answer.
"Jess?" I still don't answer. "Oh. My. Gosh. How come you haven't been to a party before? You need to get out a bit more, girrrlll."
"I haven't really had the time, with school, dad dying and moving. It's just all too much."
"Awww, it's okay." She comes over and hugs me.
"Okay, we should leave now." I say after a while.
"Yep." She grabs her bag and I grab mine. We walk downstairs and I walk to the kitchen. My mums in there.
"Mummy. You know how you love me?" I say in an innocent voice.
"Mmmhmm." She replies, only half paying attention.
"Would it be alright if I sleep at Leilani's house tonight."
"Okay honey." She replies. "Have fun."
"Thank you, mum." I reply and kiss her on the head.
As I walk out of the kitchen, I hear her say "And no boys!".
I smile, glad that she didn't look at my outfit and I grab Lani's wrist. I pull her up the stairs and explain that my mum won't expect me home until tomorrow and she says i can stay at her house.
She helps me pack a bag with my pajamas, a toothbrush, a hairbrush, day clothes for tomorrow, my makeup bag and hair elastics. Then we run downstairs and I chuck my bag in the back seat.
Lucky Leilani walked, or we'd have 2 cars to take. I hop in the drivers seat and she hops in the passengar. She directs me where to go using her phone and we get there in 10 minutes.
As we're getting out of the car, I check my phone for what feels like the millionth time. It's 6:23 and there is at least 30 people out the front of the house. We walk up the steps of the house and I take a deep breath as I push the door open and walk inside...
