Just then two small, twin girls about 5 years old, came crashing through the front door followed by an elderly, white-haired gentleman. “Oh my, I didn‘t realize it was so late. We‘ve been talking for hours.”
“Gi-Gi, Gi-Gi, papa did magic.” the girls screamed.
“He did? Daddy, what did you do?”
“I just put some flowers on your mother’s grave is all.” George said.
“These are my great-granddaughters. This is Georgina, named after Daddy and this is Frederica, after Uncle Fred.” “Daddy, come sit here by me and meet that reporter from the Daily Profit I was telling you about, here to interview me about being the first muggle to attend Hogwarts.”
“That was your Mother’s doing. Once she set her mind to something, there wasn’t any stopping her. Did I ever tell you girls how I met your grandmother?”
“Tell us, tell us!” the girls screamed.
“Well, I was in the US on holiday. I was driving down the street, turned a corner and bam! I ran right into the front of her car. They drive on the wrong side of the road in the US, you know.” and the girls squealed with laughter. “It’s a good thing our little girl wasn’t in the car.” George said absently, not remembering that he was Roxanne’s step-dad.
“May I ask one more question before I go?”
“Go ahead.” I said.
“The girls, they were so excited about the magic, are they witches or are they muggles?”
I could only smile and say, “In this family, it‘s not important if you‘re muggle or wizard. All that matters is they’re Weasley’s.”
