Under The Moon Spell (Percabeth Adventure )

The Visit (Annabeths p.o.v)

I tell Artemis about how we found out that Percys cyclops brother Tyson had disappeared from the underwater forges two days ago, and had been missing since then. I also tell her carefully about how there were rumours that he just started screaming something about the moon and then ran out.
Artemis doesn't say anything for a while. Then she says "well that's new."
"What's new?" I say confused.
"I think that it has never happened to a cyclops before." Artemis says intrigued.
"What hasn't happened before?" Percy asks Artemis.
I kick him gently in his foot to remind him that I am supposed to be doing most of the talking.
"As I was saying before I got so rudely interrupted..." Artemis says and looks at Percy like she was going to shoot an arrow through him.
"...Is that an cyclops has never been under the moon spell before" Artemis says.
"What's the moon spell?" I ask her.
"Sorry I'm not gonna tell you that my dear, at least not while he's in here" Artemis says and looks at Percy.
"But..." Percy starts to say but I interrupt him and say:
"But Tyson is Percys brother can't Percy stay here in the tent?"
"No he cannot if you want to know more about the spell he has to leave" Artemis says firmly.
I look at Percy and say to him really meaning it "I'm sorry Percy, but you heard her go wait outside."
"But I... okey I'll go but I'm gonna wait right outside, okey?" Percy asks but he says it like it's already decided.
"Yeah, okey" I say.
As soon as Percy is outside the tent Artemis starts talking.
"So, the moon spell is a spell..." she says, and I think uh duh!
"...And it's a very rare spell at that. It can only happen to a person that is underwater, and is looking at a full moon at a very ummm specific moment" Artemis says.
"Specific moment?" I ask a little bit confused.
"Every time I bleed ichor the moon turns gold for a REALLY, REALLY SHORT time" Artemis says a little bit fast, but still is serious.
"Wait so you're telling me that Tyson looked at a golden moon while he was underwater, and that is the reason he is under a spell?" I ask a little more confused.
"Yes, that is the reason why your cyclops friend is under a spell" Artemis says annoyed.
"But what does the spell do?" I ask her.
"Didn't you say that he disappeared two days ago" Artemis says.
"Yeah, that's what I said" I say.
"Well then he's got two days before he goes completely insane, and then you can't do anything about it" Artemis says bluntly.
"What Two days!? I ask just to be sure that I heard her right.
"Yes, but he might have three days because cyclopses are a little bit stronger then mortals" Artemis says and sounds a little bit like she doesn't care.
"But you have an antidote, right?" I ask her starting to panick a little, and then i think why is there always a time limit?
"I have an antidote for mortals but I have no idea if it works on a cyclops" Artemis says.
"Can we have it?" I ask Artemis and plead with my eyes.
"Yes you can, but you cannot tell anybody that you have it including your boyfriend" Artemis says the word boyfriend with disgust, and has a little bit of a hard time saying the word.
"What, why?" I ask.
"Just to make things interesting" Artemis says otherworldly.
"To make things interesting" I say to Artemis with a frustrated tone.
"You watch your tone girl I am helping you, you should be thankful!" Artemis says starting to get angry at me.
I say nothing. How could I be so stupid, for a second I forgot I was talking to a goddess.
"I-I'm sorry" I say to Artemis.
"Apologie accepted, but next time you use that tone I will not forgive you so easily" Artemis says with a strong voice.
"Well, thank you and if that's all I'll just be on my way" I say carefully and start walking outside.
"Wait" Artemis says suddenly relaxed. I turn around and Artemis then says "you forgot the antidote." All of a sudden I feel something heavy in my pocket. I put my hand in the pocket and feel somthing made out of glass. Then I look at Artemis and she just says "just know that the antidote will only work at night and also remember that once the cyclops goes fully insane he will always be insane."
