Diana POV
I just came from the hospital with a pregnancy result, saying am three weeks pregnant. My life is not something you can be jealous about, cause i work in a restaurant with a little salary and i have no family cause i grew up in the orphanage, and we all know that life in the orphanage without parents care is not an easy one.
When i was a day old, a woman brought me to the orphanage cause she saw me at the front of her house with only a paper, and inside the the paper was my "lovely Diana" written. Although i love those who took good care of us, but their are some kids who always bully me and make fun of me. I graduated from college with the best result cause i studied so hard, now here i am pregnant because of a one night stand.
I don't even remember the name of the guy that i had a one night stand with cause i was drunk, i had a bad day at work.
Flashback
I just left the restaurant with the boss yelling at me cause of a mistake i made. My boss is a very strict man but due to my good behavior he allowed me to work with him. As i was going home i decide to go to the bar cause i was unhappy and my house bills has due, on getting there i sat down and ask for a strong alcoholic drink. While i was drinking i saw some guys looking at me but i ignored them cause am not ready for any guy drama and they also look like gangster.
After drinking a lot i stood up to dance, while dancing a guy came to me and am sure he's also drunk. We started dancing and talking, one thing lead to the other we had sex in the bar guest house. When i woke up i found myself naked with a serious headache, i heard that the guy was in the bathroom cause of the sound of water so i left in hurry.
Luckily for me it was on Sunday morning, that same day was the day i lost my V card to a total stranger. I only told my friend who was living next to my room cause she's the only person i can confide in and also trusted with all my secrets.
End Of Flashback
That is how i got pregnant with the baby am carrying, but i made up my mind never to abort the baby so am going to take good care of it since i don't know if it is a he or she. Although my salary is not that much but am sure i would be able to survive with the baby.
Although having a baby is not in my budget but am sure i wont be alone anymore, living alone is not something am happy about and when he or she is born I'll be so happy. I have always want to have a reason in life, something to live for and am sure with this baby i would accomplish that. But i need someone to talk to.
I decide to talk to my best friend "Lola" living next door, i knock her door three times before she open the door for me. "What are you doing here" She said with a smile.
"I have a news for you" i told her while sitting down.
"What is it,tell me now" she asked me excitedly.
"I don't know how you'll feel but,....... " i said suddenly becoming nervous.
She stared at me expecting me to continue
"A... Am....am five week pregnant" i told her quietly.
"WHAT" she shouted standing up.
"How, when, to who" she asked simultaneously.
"Do you remember the one night stand i told you" she nodded. "Am pregnant for that stranger i don't know and am not going to abort it cause i wont kill a innocent baby that is just growing inside of me" i told her my mind.
"Yeah that's great am not going to tell you to abort the baby, and don't worry am here for you anyday and anytime" she told me honestly.
"Thank you soo much i really appreciate it i needed someone like you babe and thanks again" i said hugging her.
"Ok i'd see you later" she said opening the door to her apartment for me
I went into my room thinking about everything that has happen to me, from when i grew up in the orphanage till when i started going to school. Life has never been easy but i pray to God to be my shield and helper everyday.
I went to the kitchen to look for something to eat, after eating i climbed the bed and lay back staring at the ceilings. Tomorrow is going to be better than today i thought before dozing off to slip.
What comes your way never give up never surrender and don't retreat, cause their is always light at the end of the tunnel
