Is it me or is the world moving too fast, well I don't care cause am happy. Yeah you might me wondering why a woman who is four month and a week pregnant happy. Few weeks ago I saw a bag at the restaurant that am working, forgotten by one of our customer, I traced the guy with the help of the ID I saw in the bag, though I didn't really check the content of the bag. It might be bomb "lol".
Well funny me but am happy it wasn't and to cut the story short I returned the bag to the guy and he was happy and I was heavily, I mean heavily compensated with a sum of $50,000. That was the second most happiest day of my life after my first been the day I found out I was pregnant.
So with the help of the cash I had with me I was able to buy and small house with three rooms and get my own restaurant, so what is not to be happy about. Am sure with how things are going I'll find my happy ever after.
"Ma'am this is for you" Grace said after passing the cup of tea in her hand to me.
Grunting I said " But grace I have told you several times not to call me ma'am, it makes me feel like a grandma".
"Well I love to see the look on your face whenever I call you that" she laughed walking away.
"Crazy girl" I muttered silently.
Grace what a funny girl, she just like pulling my legs whenever she's able to. I met Grace and Racheal a two weeks ago when they applied that they want to work with me, though Grace is funny Racheal is worse, but I still love them. We have been close since we met and am happy to meet them also.
"How was the date you told me you were going to attend" i asked Grace looking at her pointedly
"It was fine" she said looking away from
"Ohh....any gist after the date" Rachael asked smiling also joining the conversation
"Nothing happened between us" Grace said shying away.
"We belieeevvve you" Me and Rachael said together smiling.
"Customers are here am going" Grace ran away blushing.
"That girl....." Rachael said still smiling
"Hey girl come here and tell me about the guy i saw you texting few minutes ago" i said to Rachael.
"2 cup of coffee, okay am off" Rachael said running away
"You....." I could not continue before she left
"Well it's me and you now baby" i said touching my stomach
Am sure my baby will be beautiful, though I don't know the gender of the baby cause me and Lola wants the baby to be a surprise for us. And no matter the gender of the baby i will love him/her like a mother should love their child. There should be like 4 month and some week before I'll give birth, I can't wait to hold my baby in my hands
"Baby i know I don't have much and you don't even know your father, but I'll try to give you the best of what i can afford and i hope you will be more awesome than me" i said chuckling
"Someone is talking to their baby and am getting jealous" Lola said coming inside the restaurant
"If you are jealous go and have yours" i said getting up to greet her.
" Ouch....you wound me, anyway what is yours is mine including the baby" she said smiling triumphantly
"Whatever" i said rolling my eyes at her.
"How was work today" I asked
"Same as usual" she said laughing
"Hey girls good evening" Lola said to Rachael and Grace while winking at them
"Evening Miss Lola" they said while serving the customers
"Am not old call me Lolly" Lola said almost crying.
"You asked them to do this to me right" she said, looking at me
"Me......"
"I don't know anything about it Miss Lola" i said smiling her.
"Ah.....I hate you" she said frowning
"I love you too babe" i said looking at her
"Durh....how can you not love this beauty" Lola said looking smugly
"Is this girl alright, I don't think she is cause she's always thinking upside down" I thought inside
"Crazy girl indeed, i hope my baby doesn't inherit anything from her" i muttered still thinking
" So babe when are we going home I miss my bed" Lola said looking at me
"Soon babe let Rachael and Grace pack" i said
Few minutes later
"See you tomorrow girls" i said while waving at the girls.
"Let us go home" Lola said as she get into her car
"Yes ma'am" i said sitting down and saluting her.
" Lola please don't play the music you don't know how to sing" i said pleading at her
"You...." She said
"I was just joking, face the road" i said smiling
She look and me and i saw her smiling, Oh God help me lovely daughter. I know that look, she's going to sing at home like mad till i say she's the best. God save me
