Jonathan had just gotten home now after talking to his new "friend" Anthony and found himself sighing before opening the door. He was met with happy faces of his family asking him about how he did. All he could say was I'm going to bed. Poor Jonathan couldn't bare to face his family after he failed at the recital. Like he said he walk to his room and just flopped down on his bed. Although he decided to not go to bed.
Jonathan look over to a table across the room that had the sheet music of the piece he used for the recital. It was Moonlight Sonata, his favorite song and he was forlorn over how badly he had played the sonata. He sighed as got up, left his room, and walked to the sunroom where his piano lay. It was a large, black, grand piano with beautiful pearl white keys and a lovely black stool with a red fabric top. He stood there looking at the keys before sitting down and putting his hands up to the piano in playing position.
Jonathan started to play the sonata pouring all his feeing of sadness and sorrow into it. He played each note and each rhythm perfectly. Jonathan would have amazed anyone listening. After he finished a tear dropped onto the pearly keys. He was crying. Piano had meant everything to Jonathan and this had been his favorite song which he had been practicing for years. It destroyed him to hear how much he had butchered Moonlight Sonata earlier that day. All he could do was sit at the piano and cry. Crying was the only thing that made him feel okay.
