Gia's POV

As we started our way down the hallway, I see multiple glowing windows on either side of it, with no glass in them to separate the hallway and whatever was on the other side. As we approached the first one on the left, Jungkook and I both peered inside. It looked like a little kitchen that was set up to be creepy, with mechanical witch stirring a pot that had green smoke coming out of it. Jars of eyeballs and other human parts were on the shelves around her, and on the stove in the back of the small room was a rat. Suddenly, she let out a loud cackle. I flinched, and Jungkook looked over at me and chuckled.

"It's only the beginning and you're already scared?" he teased.

"Shut up" I pushed his shoulder lightly back. He shook his head, still laughing, and continued walking forward. I walked after him, my hand still in his.

The next window was on the right, and it looked like a little living room inside. It had a few sofas, complete with skeletons sitting on them, watching a flatscreen TV with a baseball game on. I smiled when I noticed that even the baseball game was made up of skeleton athletes, and that one of the skeletons. On the left side of the room was a single skeleton sitting at a piano, and it started to play by itself.

There must be cameras in here somehow... how else would these machines know when to start playing? Someone is probably pressing a button for when we actually look inside....

"WOULD YA STOP HAROLD?! THE GAME IS ON!" squawked one from the couch, and the piano skeleton stopped playing.

"Hehe.." I couldn't help but giggle. Poor Harold.

As we continued down the hallway and looking into the windows, I actually found myself enjoying the haunted house. Jungkook seemed to be having fun as well, as we observed dancing werewolves and vampires brushing their teeth. They all each had something to say, and I smiled up at Jungkook as we rounded a second corner, leading us to one last window before we would exit through a big black curtain that I could see down the hallway.

"Thank you for convincing me to come in here" I said to him.

"I told you it would be fun" he grinned, gently squeezing my hand for a moment.

As we looked into the last window, I saw that it was a bedroom, but decorated as a graveyard. The headboard of the bed had been shaped as if it was a grave, and lying on the bed was a zombie bride, unmoving. I waited for a moment, expecting her to move.

"Why isn't she..?"

"Maybe this one is broken"?

"Oh, I just expected-"

Suddenly, a zombie jumped out at me from beside the window on the inside of the room, so I couldn't have seen him beforehand. He let out a loud groan, and I jumped backwards shrieking, and dashed down the hallway.

"Hey, Gia! Wait up!" I heard Jungkook call after me, but I was already turning the corner, and I realized that I was running in the wrong direction, but it didn't matter. My heart was beating loudly in my ears as fear coursed through me. I stopped in the middle of the second hallway, panting.

"Gia!" Jungkook called after me again, and I heard his footsteps as he approached. "Are you okay"?

"Y-y-yeah" my voice shook, my bottom lip quivering.

"No you're not, you're shaking" he said, and it was only then that I noticed I was shaking from being so scared. "Come here" Jungkook spoke softly as he pulled me into his strong embrace, hugging me protectively. My breathing slowed down, and we stayed like that for a bit; with his arms around my waist and mine around his middle, and my head resting on his chest.

"I'm sorry that you got so frightened. I didn't see that guy in the mask until he jumped out at us" Jungkook whispered, bending his neck down to rest his head on my shoulder. I shivered involuntarily when his breath brushed against my ear.

"It's not your fault, I didn't see him either" I replied quietly, and realizing that my heart was starting to speed up again. Not from being scared, but from how close Jungkook and I are.

"Come on, let's get out of here" Jungkook barely pulled away from me, gazing down at me for a moment. He wrapped and arm arm around my shoulder, and we started to walk back towards where the exit was. I noticed that he had purposely put me on the right side of his body, being a barrier towards the last window that had scared me. I clenched my eyes shut as we walked past it, but nothing happened. We pushed past the heavy black curtain, and stepped back into the original glowing room when we first came in. I closed my eyes, bracing myself for sunlight as we opened the door to leave the haunted house. Jungkook let out a small groan from the light, and I felt kind of bad that I didn't warn him.

"Where did Jimin and Yoongi go?" Jungkook asked me as if I would know the answer.

"Maybe on another ride? Did the text you"?Jungkook pulled his phone out of his pocket with his freehand, checking it.

"Jin texted the group chat, saying for everyone to meet up at the maze of mirrors".

"Where is that"?

"I think we passed it on the way inside, come on" Jungkook took his arm off my shoulder and laced his fingers with mine, and we started to walk back the way we came inside. As we strolled along I heard a group of girls squeal for a little ways away from us.

"Look, it's Jungkook-ah! Wait, who is he with?..."

"I didn't know Oppa got a girlfriend! How dare that nasty skank steal him".

"Maybe it's just his ugly sister"?

I sucked in some air, trying not to show my shock. Jungkook must be popular at school or something.

Jungkook must have heard them as well, because he suddenly start tugging me along with him in there direction.

"Yah, you go to my school?" Jungkook asks the girls suddenly, but his voice was harsh.

"Um, y-yes Oppa" one of them squeaked, looking somehow both scared and excited that he acknowledged their presence.

"This is Hoseok's cousin, Gianna, so I suggest you be good to her" Jungkook declared. Their eyes all widened.

"No wonder she's so beautiful, just like Hoseok"!

"Yes, it's so nice to meet you" one of them bowed, and the other two followed suit. I said nothing in reply, not trusting myself to say anything but a nasty remark back.

You little snakes, you were just calling me ugly a moment ago.

"She will be attending the same school as us, so I, along with the rest of BTS, expect that you treat her well" Jungkook declares.

BTS? What is that?

"Of course Oppa! We will treat her exceptionally well" one recited.

"Good, I expect nothing less. And Gia" he looks over at me. "If any of these girls give you a problem, you are to tell me, and I will take care of it". I heard one of them gulp, and they all looked nervous.

"It was nice meeting you" I chimed at them, narrowing my eyes. My smile was sinister, and I knew it was cruel, but in that moment I didn't care. I would remember them.

"Let's go, and don't plan on following us. See you in school" Jungkook said to them, and we both walked away from the now glaring girls.

"What a bitch".

"Who does she think she is with our Oppa".

I giggled as we continued strolling, the girl's bickering becoming too far away to hear.

They must be obsessed with Jungkook to be that riled up.

I stopped laughing at their reaction. For some reason, the thought bothered me that girls might be crazy about Jungkook.
