It's Rose.
I'm going to tell you how my world changed
or more accurately; how it ended.
I'm not sure exactly how it came to be
I guess life had just punished me for doing wrong.
But why me? Why not Hunter?
I mean, weren't there other people out there who did inhumane things? Or has it just happened to be that I'm.. I don't know, the chosen one?
No. no. That's silly and stupid.
This is serious
all of this is serious. Something terribly wrong happened to this world.
Where did everyone go?
I need answers.
I wish that I could just go back in time and take back all the words I said.
I wasted so many days cursing and disrespecting people.
Disrespecting my family.
Now I just quietly sit here, tears flushing down my hot cheeks and filling my sore eyes.
I'm alone.
Well, we are alone
Shawn and I. We only have each other.
He constantly motivates me every day to never give up, to keep on fighting. Making it sound like everything will go back to normal once we wake up the next day. But not a day has passed that isn't the same.
He still manages to put a smile on his face, and somehow mine.
I don't know if I would be alive right now without him.
