It was her first day at school. She'd seen illustrations of schools in Elysian but never a real one. It was prestigious.

Elysia Academy.

The elders sure knows what they are capable of.

"Ehem- You must be Yerim. I'm Wendy, the academy's 500th captain. You must come in now, its cold out here."

I wonder if she's immortal.

As soon as they stepped in the grand hallway, yeri was beyond amazed.

This would be second to the ritual hall in Elysian.

The ceilings were sky high with paintings of gods and goddesses. The floor was carpeted. The walls were infused with waterfalls, ending at small fountains.

Needless to say, the entire school was greek-themed. From the floor to ceiling, every little detail was not spared.

Wendy led here into a room filled with papers everywhere on the shelves.

"In case you're wondering, yes. I am immortal, yerim. Or should I say subject ANGEL?"

"So you know.."

"All of Elysian knows about you, yerim. You're very well known as the first Cupid in a hundred years. Textbooks, records, even in Elysian's infamous list! I can't believe I'm seeing you in person."

Is she excited of seeing me right now?

"You bet she is."

The voice didn't belong to yeri nor Wendy, the person laughed. You could hear the emotions in it, like harp strings tugged.

"Who's that?"

A girl almost the same age as her popped out from nowhere.

"I'm Joy, the vice captain of the school. Aka goddess of humour and elegance."

"What's your alias? Mind control?"

"Bingo."

"Guess I can't hide anything from you then."

"You don't need to."
