Eyes of Disapointment

Single and lonely,

Your friends hardly make an effort with you.

Always you putting into the friendships,

On top of the relationships with your family.

Getting fed up with giving everything you all,

You're attitude towards your parents change

You hardly talking at school anymore.

Looking into your parents eyes,

You see their eyes full with disappointment.

Starting to see yourself differently when you look in the mirror.

Eating less,

Working out more to keep your mind off things.

Soon you don't trust anyone.

Your heart,

Turning ice cold.

Your soul,

Filling with fire getting hotter with rage.

Soon you become misunderstood,

No one can figure you out.

The only person you talk to about anything,

Your ex.

He always seems to be there for you,

When no one else seems to be.

Everyone says that they're there for you,

Their actions show otherwise.

Your feelings are all gone,

You couldn't care less.

But yet you cry every night,

Your dad walks in,

All you can do is hide your face.

You look into his eyes again.

They're filled with disappointment.
