I once again woke up with a chill up my spine it's too cold for just this comforter way to cold but the thought of that dream is even more chilling. I turn on my phone on it read. 4 am. Once again 4 am, I walk down the hallway and into the kitchen. I guess I'll start my day early more gaming time I ate and sat in the lazy boy another chill goes up my spine. Why isn't the heater on, well, whatever. I try to turn on the T.V, what why isn't anything working? I catch a glimpse out my window and remember the disaster the previous night.
I walk to the window the cars and downed power line are still there along with a humongous amount of trees and power lines down. Why haven't they fixed it yet? I look down to see the road isn't pavement anymore it's just ice. More and more ice covering every road. Not just that the ice was everywhere in the yards, roofs any surface that isn't protected. Now I see the reason they haven't fixed it yet is because of the roads. They can't get their equipment down here or they'd crash into the ditch or worse someone's house, and with this many downed lines, it would take days to fix. I'll have to get more blankets I stand up to go to my closet and grab the blankets then set them on my bed. What will I do know?
I grab my phone and start playing games. *beep beep* I Look at the notification 15% battery. I set down the phone and grab a charging box that I always keep charged for situations like this, along with some books and a cup of water that I set on the bedside stand. I wrap my self up in my blankets and start reading until sundown. Finishing the last book I set it down beside my cup of water with my other books. I check my phone 100%. 10 PM the top of the screen read. Have I really been reading that long? I yawn resting my head on my soft pillows and doze off while getting a final look out the window not before thinking of the previous dream I had.
