Hybrid (On Hold)

Chapter 1

As we sat in the car in silence I looked out the passenger window while the scenery changed as we drove to our destination.

"You ready to meet your new foster parents Scarlett?" Mr. Daniels asks me.

No answer

"Scarlett come on it won't be that bad, these people are nice and want you as their child." he said.

"How are you so sure 'bout that? What if they don't want a hybrid like me? No one does." I said quietly thinking about all the other foster homes I've been too.

"I'm sure they'll want you they don't know ' bout you're secret but who cares if you're a hybrid or not they just want you as their kid." he reassured, "plus they were excited when they found out they were fostering you."

"Sure they were excited or were they just faking it?" I asked.

"I'm sure they were excited and don't worry they don't know know your secret only when you're ready." Mr. Daniels exclaimed, "though this is their first time taking in foster a kid so give them slack."

After that I didn't speak for the rest of the way.

20 minuets later

"Here we are, the Colons house, and Scarlett?" Mr. Daniels asked, "remember you're not alone, not everyone is cruel in this world."

I nodded and got out of the car and followed Mr. Daniels up to the front door of the Colons house and knocked on the door. When the door opened we were greeted by a tall man that towered over me with blonde hair and woman with light brown hair shorter than him by a few inches.

"Hello you must be Scarlett, I'm Sarah and this is my husband William." She said smiling, " well why don't the both you come on in."

I nodded and followed them to the living room, I look around and see that it's decorative but yet simple. With bronze like walls and decorations to contrast from it so it's not too much.

"Do any of you want something to drink or eat?" Mr. Colons asks, " we have iced tea, water, juice."

"I'll take an iced tea please." Mr. Daniels replies, "what about you Scarlett?"

"I'm good thanks." I mumble, "uum.. can you tell me where the bathroom is?"

"Oh sure it's just down the hall first door on the right." Mr. Colons tells me.

I nod and head down the hall and find the bathroom, I walk in and it's  a Victorian yet modern but most modern bathroom with blue walls, marble countertop, walk-in shower and a bathtub, and a medium, light shade of grey curtains to contrast from it.

Then I look at myself in the mirror  at my features my long chocolate brown hair, my rosy cheek bones, light skin competition, and light blue eyes minus the fact that I have a lip piercing.
