I have a message
A message to those who fight
To everyone
Never stop what you're doing
Don't give up until you win
This thing you feel might never last
Look forward to the dream, not into the past
There will be those who knock you down
There will be others who mess you around
They're not the ones who will win
And you definitely won't if you give in.
So ignore those who mock
Just turn your head and pity
They're the ones
Who've lost their dreams
Who needs to stand out and make others mourn?
Apparently, they do.
Finding comfort in other's pain?
Sadly they do.
So go on!
Jump over every hole they've made.
Step over every foot set out to trip you
Chose to do what you will with the comments
I'm telling you they're not true.
They say that you're not all that?
They say you're stupid and lonely?
They say the dream will never happen
They spread that you're a phoney
Laugh in their face
It will give them a shock
Or if you feel you've no confidence
Silently mock
Oh and before you try to walk on your own
Remember, no matter what they say, or what you think
There will always be someone there for you
I don't mean to sound cheesy.
A lot of stuff has gone on
I've lost and forgotten thousands of dreams
And now I'm clinging onto one
And, though I know this has been long
A quick reminder to "them". . .
Run.
You try to look 'cool'
You try to belittle others
I will not let you get away.
Is that put into simple enough English for you?
