The crisp air of the fall season cut the brunette's nose as she trudged across the swampy pathway. She walked this same trail so many times that her legs went on autopilot. Busan was lonely and quiet at this time of night, which worked perfectly for Somin's situation.

Gazing up, Somin's eyes took in the full white orb that was up in the sky, accompanied by maple leaves falling from their trees. The woman paused, holding out her hand to catch one of the leaves that were tumbling to the ground.

Red...

It reminded her of hate and anger, feelings that were surging through her body this very moment. Unexpectedly, the brunette crumbled up the leaf, watching the red pieces cascade to the floor. She kicked the petals underneath a bush and continued walking.

"If only it was that easy to hide a body" She sighed. On her back was her 20th victim. This time, it was a fairly young man, possibly in his mid-20s. Chanwoo was his name. Thinking back on his death, Somin wished the man turned out to the different.

The woman had been watching this man for a while (stalking if would call it), finding out that he was another sick child predator, preying on young fifteen-year-old girls who were wanting to date an older man.

Inside of Somin's brain, there were three things that infuriated her the most. Child predators, rapists, and being caught in a sucky scam. And it just so happened that Chanwoo appeared to be and do all of those things.

So, it would only make sense that she killed him in the worst way possible.

Burning him alive.

After Chanwoo had "tricked" Somin into believing that he a high-school student, she started acting more flirtatious. Simple acts, like hand-holding and leaning her head against his warm shoulder. Her lips still lingered from the kiss. The woman couldn't even lie, if Chanwoo wasn't such an evil man, she would have easily fallen for his charming personality.

Sadly, Somin had a duty to kill worthless scum off of this planet.

The woman had led Chanwoo to her signature "Smoke House", which was another word for a death room she had created for torching her victims.

The part Somin loved the most was when she watched Chanwoo try to escape, banging his hands against the glass door. A slight smile arose on the woman's face when she recalls Chanwoo screaming at her, pleading to have mercy on his poor soul. The countless promises he made to become a better man had caused Somin to laugh out in the darkness. Why is it that humans only feel sorry when they're getting in trouble for their actions?

Alas, the woman arrived at the river.

Her river.

A river that held all of the bodies she killed. Of course, they all disappeared once the police found them, but nevertheless, the police could never trace any roots back to Jeon Somin.

Sudden movements from the bush surprised Somin. Instantly she pulled out the knife she always carried on her. She got into a fighting position, surveying the land around her. People don't come to this river anymore due to the number of murders that occured, so why would anyone be here now of all nights?

Somin grew closer to the bush, ready for anything. As she pushed all the branches out the way, all she found was a handwritten note. Picking it up, she read what it had to say

"Dear whoever you are that's reading this, unless you want to die, I suggest that you leave this river immediately. Also, look behind you.

XOXO, B.M"

Somin quickly turned on her heels, finding some man dressed in all black dumping what seemed to be multiple bodies inside of her river. The man (which was noticeably taller) turned his head towards Somin and waved.

"Hey, what are you doing! This is my dumping river, get your own!" Somin yelled at the silhouette. When he gave her the finger, she decided that was enough.

Instincts took over Somin, causing her to charge towards to man with full speed. The tall man tripped Somin, making her nearly fall into the deadly waters.

"And what is a school girl doing at this river this time of night?", the man taunted, twisting a knife of his own into Somin's back, holding onto her waist to prevent her from falling in. Somin gritted her teeth. Whoever this guy was he was good.

But not at all smart.

Somin stomped on the man's foot and elbowed him square in the jaw, pushing him down to the ground. A needle fell out from the guy's hoodie. Somin quickly scurried for the weapon, pushing the sharp point against his neck. To make sure he wouldn't be able to retaliate, Somin kneed him where the sun doesn't shine, resulting in a rather manly scream from the assaulter.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't inject whatever this is into your system" Somin growled. At this point, she didn't care if this guy was alive or not. How dare somebody tried to take away the one thing she loved in this world?

Her question was left unanswered as she felt a dark presence looming over them. Somin didn't have the chance to retaliate against this new foe, as a sharp pain arose in her lower back, followed by an immense feeling of drowsiness.

"How are you one of Busan's worst serial killers, but yet you can't sense when somebody is following you?", a deep voice spoke. Somin felt her eyes closing slowly, despite her best attempts to fight whatever she was drugged with. Somebody had picked her up and thrown her off their shoulder. Before she dozed off, she heard another voice, this time feminine. Her brain couldn't register the whole sentence, but she managed to collect the phrase, "We'll see you soon, Jeon Somin."

And then it was dark.
