Andorra and Sirius race up the stairs hauling a cup of ice water. It's 8 o'clock on the morning of September 1st, 1975 and James is still asleep.
Andorra slowly opens the door. "Wake up, sleepyhead," she calls.
James groans and rolls over.
Andorra nods at Sirius and he walks forward with the glass. He holds it at arms length and dumps the contents on James. Andorra and Sirius race out of the room and down the stairs.
"ANDORRA! SIRIUS!" James roars and runs after them.
"Woah, what's going on?" Fleaumont Potter asks.
"He wouldn't wake up, we gave him a warning," Andorra says.
"Should've woken up, son," Fleaumont shrugs.
James parts his lips to speak. Andorra sticks her tongue out at him.
"Andi, could you help me with the bacon please?" Euphemia Potter calls from the kitchen.
"Coming, mum!" Andorra calls. She sticks her tongue out at James one last time before going to the kitchen.
"You three already packed?" Euphemia asks after breakfast.
"Er, no," Andorra says.
"Almost," James says.
"I'm not even going to answer," Sirius says.
The three run upstairs, Andorra to her room and James and Sirius to the room they share.
"Teenagers," Euphemia shakes her head.
"The boys have been a bad influence on her," Fleaumont answers.
Andorra puts her two-way mirror, a Christmas gift from Sirius in their fifth-year, in her back pocket and her wand behind her ear and she slides down the staircase.
"Am I first? Yes!" Andorra exclaims.
"The boys need to hurry, it's almost time to go," Euphemia says.
"BOYS! HURRY UP! WE NEED TO LEAVE!" Andorra yells.
"I could've done that," Euphemia says rubbing her earlobe.
"Could you yell any louder?" James asks walking down the staircase.
"Of course," Andorra says. "SIRIUS!"
Sirius walks down the stairs rubbing his ear.
"Don't demonstrate!" James says.
"Sorry, not sorry," Andorra smirks.
Andorra searches the platform until she finds a curtain of red hair.
"Lily!" Andorra calls.
"Andi!" Lily hugs the girl.
"I've missed you!" Andorra says.
"You cut your hair!" Lily exclaims.
"Yes I did," she moves a layer of her unruly, black hair to reveal a blue streak.
"Omg!" Lily exclaims.
"You have to come say 'hi' to James before he explodes," Andorra says rolling her eyes.
"Uh-uh, I'm still mad at him," Lily says.
"Andi! Lily!" Hazel Lupin, a short, pale girl with light-green eyes and sandy, chin-length hair walks toward the pair with her arms wide. The three girls hug.
"So, how bad has it been?" Andorra asks.
"I didn't talk to him all summer, I'm still not," Hazel crosses her arms.
"Give him a break, Haze! He wasn't even a direct part of it! I'm talking to James!" Andorra exclaims.
"No, he should've done something," Hazel crosses her arms.
"Like what?" Andorra asks. "You know nobody can control James and Sirius, when they have a goal in mind, there's no changing their minds."
"Can we please stop talking about this?" Lily asks.
"Of course, Lily, let's go find a compartment," Hazel says.
Hazel and Andorra find a compartment at the back of the train, away from the Marauders, while Lily stalks to the prefects' compartment.
"Andi?" Hazel asks.
Andorra looks up from her book. "Hmm?"
"I need your advice, and since you spend most of your time with the guys-" Hazel starts.
"You think I know anything about guys?" Andorra asks. "I don't, but if you mean James, don't waste your time, he's legitimately obsessed with Lily."
"Who's legitimately obsessed with Lily?" Sirius asks.
"Go away, Sirius," Hazel grumbles.
"Someone's not happy," Sirius says.
Andorra crosses her arms and gives him a look.
Sirius throws his hands up in surrender. "Okay! Leaving!" He exclaims and leaves the compartment.
"He so likes you," Hazel mumbles dreamily.
"If he does, James would've killed him by now," Andorra says.
"Unless he doesn't know," Hazel says raising both her eyebrows suggestively. "Have you seen the way he looks at you? Honestly, Andi, of all people, you can't be that oblivious!"
Lily enters the compartment in a huff.
"What has you so pissed?" Hazel asks.
"Snape!" Lily yells.
"Wow, that's a name I thought I'd never hear as an answer to that question," Andorra says.
"Andi!"
She recognized that voice almost immediately. Only 6 people at Hogwarts called her that.
She jumps into the carriage. Hazel and Lily follow her. Andorra sits between James and Sirius, Lily sits between Peter and the doorway with her legs crossed, Hazel sits between Remus and the wall.
"I'm sorry, Remus," Hazel says. "It was wrong of me to blame you."
"We gonna do this now?" Lily asks.
"That's okay, Hazel," Remus says.
"Apparently we are," Andorra says. She crosses her legs and opens a book in her lap.
"Again, Andi?" James asks looking at the cover.
"You can never learn enough about Hogwarts," Andorra says.
"You can say that again," Sirius mumbles.
