What They Call Home

An adventurous "whoo" escapes from the courageous mouth of Gia, the faces of her pack smile up as she swings from a rope tied on the old rusty railings of the dusty and abandoned factory. Her light red hair waves rapidly behind her, the faint light from the broken windows shine off her dark blue scales, her toothy grin rains an adventurous spirit down upon the smiling bitties.

Gia, an Undyne bitty herself, took the time to create a pack for abandoned bitties, her, Ryder, a Sansey bitty, and Socket, who is appropriately named after a font. Worked together for a year to get up to this point.

Gia's webbed hands slipped from the rope and she lands perfectly on a bridge connecting two parts of the factory together. She rested her hands on her hips and smirked down watching the bitties run back and forth. She turned this old busted factory into a bitty jungle gym! She made a resting place with cans and old doll furniture, bitties happily used homemade weights for exercise. There is a bar and eating area, pieces of metal are pushed together to create a bar counter and bags have been set up to store food.

Gia is proud of her work, as she reminisces the short figure of Ryder walks up, his hands are naturally in the pockets of his old ripped up brown hoodie. "Heh, kinda strange to look at how far we've gone. It only seemed like it was yesterday when you came up to me with that grin and asked me to join," Ryder smiles joining her as they looked down. "You punk that was so cheesy!" Gia laughed nudging the relaxed skeleton playfully. "Besides we still have more stuff to do! We still have the rest of the city to search!" Gia added enthusiastically.

"Anyway have you've seen Socket? Is he off at the garden again?!" The garden they have couldn't exactly be called a garden, it is just a bunch of dead bushes with a few flowers. "Nah, but I'll keep an-" "don't you dare!"

"Eye-Socket out for him!" Ryder's grin annoyed and amused Gia "uggggh you punk!" She reaches over and started to noogie the punny skeleton. He chuckled and struggled to remove her hand "what you didn't find that humerus bass?" "uUuUGH!" Ryder is pushed playfully "I am not dealing with you!" Gia crossed her arms and turned her back on him "c'mon I fish you wouldn't give me the cold shoulder!" He kept trying to see her face, but she kept turning away from him.

"Hahahhahha!" The two turn around to see a Dadster bitty, his right eye was completely cracked and broken and he wears a dirty and ripped lab coat with a just as dirty loose white t-shirt with a large V neck. "Socket where have you've been!" Gia quickly recovers from the previous assault of puns and strides over to Socket. "I'm s-haha-sorry, but I was at the garden" of course the science loving skeleton would be at the garden and that he happened to hear the puns, unfortunately Socket had the same love for puns as Ryder, which in turn makes him burst out laughing.

After a while of puns being shared between the two skeletons and annoyed groans another bitty walks up to them, with a dark red jacket and pants of similar fashion it is obvious that he is an edgy "the team s'ready," the group nods at the bitty "thanks! Are you going to join this time Rim?!" Gia asked excitedly. "Nah decided to stay 'ere." Rim replied awkwardly, when they found him he ran away from his old home, he said the people there weren't good. He's never said anything else.

"Awww too bad, I was hoping for you to join this time," Socket began "we were just going to check around our territory, nothing too big, so I really did think you'll join." He continues, Socket has always had a way with words and other bitties.

"Mmm, sounds like a good deal, but 'm gonna pass,"

"You sure buddy? You haven't done much since you got here," Ryder kick some dirt off the bridge.

"I don' like leavin'."

That was it as the quiet skeleton turned around and walked away, the trio sighed at the failed attempt to get him to join them on one of their adventures.

"well that didn't work,"

"I know that punk!"

"Maybe next time we can get him to join, I'm worried about him."

Gia suddenly wrapped her arms around the shoulders of her friends "right now we don't have the time to worry about him, now which area of our territory are we covering?!" Right now there are three sections of their territory, each named by the major building there. To the east is the Hospital section, to the north is the dock and the west is the skyscrapers section. Gia always thought the names were wimpy, but her comrades seemed to like them, so she kept them.

"Hmmm as I recall it's the hospital section," Socket lifted up a finger as he told the two of the information. "Perfect! Well what are we waiting for let's go!" Gia fist punched the air before jumping off the bridge. 

Socket and Ryder seemed unfazed by her reckless antics, they quickly found their own way down "Ya punks are so slow fuhuhuhuhu!" Gia left the two in a hurry to get outside, Ryder shrugged and walked off after her not bothering to run or even speed walk. Socket shake his head and smiles, he soon follows them.

Off they go to see the team and to see the city again.
