That Sunday, I slept in and just settled down with the dog. I didn't talk to a human until Monday, when I went to work. The first person who greeted me once I walked in was Arthur Darvill.
"Hello, Rosie."
"Hi, Ror- Arthur!" Oops.
"Can I walk with you into the back? I have to get my outfit for today's rehearsal."
"Yeah, sure! I don't mind."
Arthur walked with me down the halls of BBC, with telling the gossip of how he heard Matt had gotten a girlfriend. "Are you the girlfriend?" he asked, giving me a funny smile. "No, no!" I cried, but kept thinking, "That I know of..."
"You're the girlfriend! A-HA! I knew it!" Arthur cried laughing. He ran around me singing "I knew it" as I tried to walk. "If you want to get to the back you're going to stop." I replied, chuckling. "Fine," Arthur said taking my hand, "Lead me the way, Rosie!"
I laughed as I roamed the halls with a grown man dragging behind me. Finally, I huffing once we got there pulling so much weight behind me, we arrived to the back room, where some of the people were sowing up at the machines. Arthur ran to the way back and grabbed an outfit then ran back towards me. "See you, Rose!" he cried rushing out from the room. I waved him away and went to the way back as well.
I had my own desk in a small office area which was messy on the tops filled with sketches and ideas for costumes. Then I saw a note next to a cup of coffee on my desk. The note read:
Morning, Rosie. Hope you had a fantastic weekend, drink up the coffee before it gets ice cold. Unless you like it that way, I sure don't anymore.~Matt
I awed at the note and took the coffee. I took a sip; sugar and cream, my favorite. I was about to put the note in one of my notebooks when I flipped the back. There was a doodle of M+R= Love in a heart.
I literally died.
I wanted to cry out and scream and run around like a madwoman. But I couldn't do that at work. So instead, I put it in my notebook and drank my coffee. Yes, I know. It's only been one date, how is it true love? I don't know if I'd call it true love, but I know I have a ginormous crush on him. I sat in my desk chair and started to sketch out a dress that they wanted to make for one of the characters on Merlin. Then I got a text from my friend Abbi.
A: I've heard you're dating the Doctor now... Eleven?
R: Yes.
A: Aw, cute!!! How'd your date go? I heard from Liz you got a little smooch...
R: I did, and now everything's changed! He makes me blush even more and I've realized I have a real crush on him, not just some crazy fangirl one...
A: Aw, I will one day marry him
R: What?!
A: Sorry! Autocorrect! I meant you not I.
R: Better not try to steal my man! He's mine!
A: Jeez, you're already in love I can tell... Ha!
R: Haha, yeah. I guess you are right. Sorry. Well, I got to go, I will text you later after work. Love you.
A: Okay, bye!
After that, I went straight to designing the dress. I made a blue dress that went past the feet and it had a touch of sparkling diamonds with a nice pendant going with it. I folded it up and grabbed an envelope. I wrote on the front To BBC's Adviser, and got out of my chair.
I walked out of my office and out of the back room to the hallways. To get to the BBC Advisor office, I had to pass Matt's room. I knew he'd be there. I walked down the halls, passing a few other celebrity rooms. When I was about to pass Matt's room, I saw him talking in the doorway to someone on the other side. Since I had to get this envelope to the advisor's office, I quickly tried to pass them without being noticed. I don't know why I wanted to just leave the scene but I just felt jumpy and worried that maybe I was becoming too attached...
I quickly tried to pass but then I heard Arthur's voice, "There's the girlfriend! There she runs!" I stopped and felt my face grow red. I could feel Matt and Arthur's eyes on me. I turned around and gave a smile. But then my heart melted... The Doctor was right in front of me, wearing his bow tie and looking adorable as ever. The bow tie made him more attractive.
"Rosie, Love," The Doctor said, coming towards me, "Would you like a tour in the TARDIS?" I could see he ment his room, which made me blush and I wanted to just run to him and kiss him. Damn his bow tie...
"Yes!" I cried, but realized what I had said. "No," I said shaking my head, "I have to get this to the advisor's office and it's due in five minutes! I got to go but I'll see you later. Promise!" I ran and waved goodbye to Rory and the Doctor.
As I ran to the advisor's office, I shook my head. Damn him and his bow tie and his cuteness. But God! How I loved him...
But I was worried I was going to lose him, like I've lost all my others.
