"We know." Kat said simply, not letting on how thrilled she was Jane was finally speaking to them again.

"And your not freaking out?" Jane questioned loudly as the two continued to pack up their portions of the dorm room.

"We are," Dawn chimed in as she placed a few potted plants into her magically extended trunk, "But Kat has a plan." she smiled reassuringly before walking over and wrapping her arms around her friend. "I'm glad your speaking again though." she said softly, her warm brown eye peering deeply into Jane's icy blue ones, her contagious smile spreading to Jane's own lips. Dawn was the one person truly capable of ??lost, opening jane up???

"So, are you gonna tell me?" She finally asked plopping down onto her own bed, she already packed up her own things and was watching her friends scramble to pack as well since they left in a few hours.

"Nope." Kat smirked, "It's a surprise. We still need to talk to Breckenridge. But lets just say see you next school year okay." She giggled as she slammed the heavy trunk lid shut on her multitudes of robes, altered uniforms and no-maj clothes that flowed out of the trunk. The three girls dragged their trunks out into the hallway, where they would magically be whisked away to the buses that the students took home. As they left the Wampus common room Jane headed towards the library, still needing to turn in books, and Kat dragged Dawn off to talk to the Headmaster.

Jane missed the bus ride home with Kat and Dawn. The three girls would take up the back seat gossiping and planning their summer together, but now the cab was silent as Jane sat with her headmaster, headed to the airport. Dumbledore was nowhere to be seen, having apparated back to Hogwarts earlier after a surprise visit from two other Wampus students.

As the car pulled up to the small no-maj airport, the magical taxi making the drive from Massachusetts to New York in mere minutes. With a small sigh she stepped out of the car after Breckenridge, smoothing the pleated fabric of her black skirt, slinging her bag over her shoulder which contained her trunk, which she'd shrunken with diminuendo before leaving school grounds, and a slightly irritated black Bombay cat. Following after her headmaster they rushed through the building, boarding a small private plane.

"The flight won't be like the cab ride," Alister Breckenridge told her as she settled into a seat across from the man, pulling the moody cat from the bag and placing him on her lap. "I suggest a nap or a good read to pass the time." He said as he pulled a rather large volume out from thin air. She was a bit confused as to why they were taking the plane when the Floo network or portkeys allowed witches and wizards to travel continents in mere seconds, while this no-maj transportation was going to take much of the day.

Breckenridge has always greatly appreciated no-maj inventions and supported the integration of no-maj ways into Ilvermorny's curriculum and culture, being a half blood wizard himself. Introducing television and electric amenities at the school had been revolutionary of the man who still taught Magical Politics while balancing his Headmaster duties and overturning Rappaport's law, the segregation of wizards and No-maj. Alister Breckenridge was truly an accomplished wizard of his time, so why he insisted on taking a longer more uncomfortable form of no-maj travel stumped Jane White.

Soon Jane was dozing off, the soft purrs of the cat in her arms and the soothing sound of pages turning lulling her into a soft, dreamless sleep.

She was awoken by the strange sensation of slowly falling, opening her tired eyes she peered out the window next to her, the bright lights of London illuminating the night as the plane descended.
