Twenty one  pairs of eyes were staring at me as I opened the door , I quickly glanced around the room trying to find a seat , I started to walked towards the empty seat at the back when I find myself tripping  over some guys bag.great first impression

Silence ...then the laughter came ,it was so humiliating I wish I had a rewind button . I stood up, my face flushed with embarrassment as I  sat down .

Not everybody laughed at me the girl in the other side of room didn't I could feel her eyes on my back as the lesson carried on.

"Right class I want you to pair up and get the items that are written on the board ."

I stood still . I looked around , everybody seemed to have a partner except me. Great . I felt a soft tap on my shoulder and turned to see who it was , it was that girl that didn't laugh at me .

"Um do you want to work with me?" she asked.

"ok". I said having no other choice (its not that I dont like her its just that I'd rather watch then do the science experiment .) I tried to think of something to say to the girl but fortunately she spoke first .

"What's your name? "she asked.

"Zendra, but you can call me z."

"Thats an unusual name .mines  Taylor."she said, as she turned the Bunsen burner on . I studyed her,    Taylor was really pretty, she had big blue eyes    which were framed by long dark eyelashes , her hair was a rich mahogany colour.Her skin was the most palest I've ever seen , I was especially jealous about her eyebrows , I couldn't get mine that neat .

She saw me studying her and pushed up her tortoise-shell glasses.

"Have I got something on my face ?" she asked me .

"No you don't it's just that you are really pretty."I told her, she blushed .

" Thankyou for saying that but its not true ."she said

I just stood there dumbfounded , I see why she needs glasses now she just doesn't realise it .

"Time to pack away people chop, chop." said sir

I helped Taylor put stuff away by taking the safety goggles back to where they belong .

" Thanks z , hey do you want to hang around with me and my friends at break? " she asked .

"Yeah I'd like that." I said
