A carraige was already waiting for Nile and Elliot.
Nile wiped his little brother’s tears and kissed his forehead one last time. He was so touched to see the tear-stricken face of his naughty brother who has always been the epitome of ‘trouble’ to him. Ian clinged to his hips even tighter than before and sniffed the snot threathening to spill again. Slowly, Nile could hear the little ‘uhmps’ on his backs as he felt the gentle punches Ian made. His throat tightened again so he glanced at Elliot for help.
Once his little brother was pulled away from him, he turned around and nodded at the blank-faced bystanders who he considered once, as his family. His grandma, the elderly who was watching the whole scene from the main house only closed the blinds as a sign that she too, was not interested on seeing him off. His throat threatened to spill out the sobs that he’s been holding for the whole time.
He glanced at the tall and sturdy Elliot who was instructing the servant on what to do with Ian’s tantrums. His hair was loosely tied in a ponytail and his gloves were moving gently as if to illustrate something that he’s been saying. Elliot seemed to sense his attention because the handsome manservant locked his eyes on his before waving off a hand to the co-worker he was talking to.
Nile straightened and locked his fingers at his back. He felt each lines patterned on his palms for the first time and almost cringed in disgust when his hands reached his ‘patterned’ wrist. His eyes noticed the black shoes and looked up as Elliot lifted his chin up. He found himself staring at those black orbs where he can see the round image of himself looking pitiful to all who can see him.
Elliot was doing it again. He was trying to telephatically send him a message to tighten his grip on his emotions. Elliot knew that his strings were so close to being cut and he could be a sobbing mess any minute from now.
“I believe we have to go, Master. “ Elliot said in his ears.
“We will leave now, My lords and ladies.” Elliot hid Nile’s face from the spectators as he referred to the ones who were staring at his Master coldly. His fingers were twitching every now and then to wipe out the smug look on the faces of the ungrateful ones living in the house who tainted his Master.
If only he was an open man, he can pour out his anger right here, right now but he will not let his Master see him become one of these monsters.
After he said those words, they were slowly left on their own with the carraige and the footman still waiting patiently. They made their way to it and Elliot followed Nile’s little form who was slowly bent down.
They reached the carraige and settled down. Nile refused to meet his eyes. His eyes were circling around everywhere while the carraige moved to carry them to their destination. Elliot stared at his master gently and saw him smile with tears brimming in his eyes.
“W-Why are y-you looking at m-me like t-that, Elli? “
Elliot cleared his throat and stopped his self from caressing the vulnerable beauty of a man with the sad eyes. He glanced outside and answered his Master what he had been told.
“We’ll be arriving on their household in a few minutes, Master. The whole household are all Alphas but their Lord, the current Lord Clyde, will be willing to take us in. “
From the periphical view on his eyes, he saw his Master slowly pick up what little confident he had. His head was held upward for a few minutes until he was able to give him the response.
“Elli, I’m no longer your Master. You are free to treat me however you like. I will serve Lord Clyde to repay his kindness. You’re free to leave, Elli. You’re not tied down to me anymore. You should go. “
