(This is my first ever fan-fiction so don't judge! Enjoy!)
My younger sister shakes me awake. "Get up sissy! Time for school!" I open my eyes and look around the room. I groan and slowly get out of bed. I scratch my head and walk downstairs to grab my clothes. I decide on a blue Aeropostale polo and a white tank top with black skinny jeans. I walk upstairs to get dressed and brush my teeth. I pull my hair into a messy bun and grab my backpack. I stand outside and see that the new family has moved their stuff in already. I stand texting my friend when I notice a short blonde haired boy was standing next to me. I glance at him in the corner of my eye. He's kind of cute. He stands wearing a grey polo and khaki shorts. Sticking out of his his bag is the end of a baseball bat. "Nice" I think to myself.
I hear the bus pull around the corner. He steps in front of me to get on the bus. I can't help but look at his bum. I sit in the seat behind him. A couple of minutes pass and I pull out my iPhone. We arrive at school and I visit my friends on the bleachers. We talk about people we hate and so on. I finally decide to tell them the news.
"I'm moving. It's almost 4 hours away."
Tears form in my eyes as I look to Madison, Megan, and Mackenzie. They pull me into a hug as the bell signals us to class. I spend the day dreaming of my crushes and how I'm going to spend the rest of my life 4 hours away from my only friends. Finally, my last class. Since it's the first day back the teachers gave us new seats. I go to my seat and notice a binder and notebooks on the desk next to mine. They all have "Andrew" written on them in pen. The boy from my bus stop walks in and sits next to me. "Hi" he waves to me and smiles. "Hey" I smile back and search his eyes. They never seem to leave mine. When the teacher walks in she hands us an assignment and everyone groans. She shushes us and we get to work.
It's completely quiet and I take the time to study him. The way he writes, or how he places his head in his left hand and writes sideways. I find all of these things cute about him until the next words leave his mouth.
"I know who you are" he whispers without looking up.
(Part 2. It might get a little crazy. Hang in there)
I look up to him. "What?" I ask confused. "Everyone tells me about you. Nothing negative." I look even more confused when he looks up to me with a tear running down his cheek. "Sorry" he says. "Things like this make me emotional." "Things like what?" I ask. "Don't do it Paige. You seem to sweet to go. You can't. I won't let you." for some reason I feel small. Like I want to hide. I cover my arms up and continue writing shakily. I get up and run out of the room. I sulk to my knees in the hall and break down. The next thing I see are teachers surrounding me and Andrew right next to me. "Don't look at me like that!" I shout and stand up. "You don't understand what I'm going through." I whisper.
I normally enjoy going to the councilors office. This time it was different. No crying, no calls home, no sympathy. Just starring. I starred at her then to my hands which were chipping at the black polish. "I tried" I finally said. "It wasn't enough" she looks to me and writes something down. "Honestly Paige, I don't know what to do with you anymore. I'm just a councilor. I'll send you to a professional if you want but obviously my help isn't...enough." She sighs and calls a number. When she hangs up she swivels in her chair to face me. "Next week at 4 she'll see you." She writes me a note and sends me to class.
