Nicky's P.O.V.

"What about this one?" Alyssa asked, holding up a pink sparkly shirt.

"Oh hell no," I snapped, looking through another rack.

Alyssa came to help me look for an outfit for my date with Liam. Since our first one was ruined because of that asshole, Peter, he was taking me out again.

"Oh my damn! Look at this one!" I shrieked, holding up a shirt I had just found.

It was strapless and had cheetah print on it along with some frilly stuff. I adored cheetah print, you didn't even know.

"That one it cute. It would be cute with some blue jean shorts, such as these," she held up some dark blue jean short shorts.

"Those will work," I said, snatching them out of her hands.

After I tried everything on and we payed for our stuff, we left the mall.

"Let's go home. I'm tired," I said, letting out a yawn.

"When is your date?"

"Not until this Saturday."

"Oh. Well then you have time," Alyssa smiled at me.

We were both exhausted because as soon as school ended, we came to the mall to get me an outfit. I was blessed to have a friend like Alyssa. She was always there for me when I needed someone, and she even supported Liam and I. And that's why I had bought her a present.

"I have something for you," I said, keeping my eyes on the road.

"What? Why?" she asked.

"Just for being there for me," I said smiling.

"What is it?" her face brightened.

"Look it the back seat," I motioned towards a box.

She got it out from the back, and stared at it.

"It's even wrapped," she said quietly.

"Yeah. They wrapped it for me."

"What is it?" she asked for the second time.

"Open it!" I laughed.

I heard her rip open the paper like a kid on Christmas and gasp. I got her a necklace that was blue, and had a cross on it.

"Oh I love it! How did you know?" She shrieked.

"I saw you looking at it in a store, so I told you I needed to go to the restroom and I went back and bought it for you," I smiled.

"That is so sweet!"

I looked at her and smiled.

The rest of the way home we just talked about school and boys. Alyssa was very funny when it came to boys, because in her perspective they were all the same. Which I can understand why she thinks that. Her long time boyfriend cheated on her also, and I know what it's like to have that happen. I thought I could never feel affection towards anyone ever again, but then I met Liam who I know wouldn't do that to me.

We walked into the house to find everyone in the kitchen.

"What's going on here?" I asked, setting my stuff on the counter.

"Well, we are going to have a bonfire tonight. They were just about to start the fire," my dad said.

"And your just in time for ice cream," my mom said, handing me a bowl.

"Oh man it's been forever since I had ice cream," I said, eating it hungrily.

"Me too," Liam said, coming up behind me.
