Sonic vs Eggman

Here we go...the usual Battle! Now THIS is amusement.

Sonic POV

I was fighting Eggman with my friends...then a black and red hedgehog stepped out.

Eggman:

"Oh hohoho! Shadow, you know what to do!"

Shadow:

"Hmph! With pleasure..."

I strangely couldn't move... But why?...
Is it because...? No...it can't be...!

Sonic:

I just stand there, Shadow stared back. I started acting nervous.
Wait...I'm his rival! I can't...

"..."
I was silent the entire fight.
No matter how long it took..

Shadow POV

Hmph... That blue hedgehog is seeming to be unusual...
What's going on?...

Narrator POV

Both hedgehogs stopped...
Eggman is getting angered from this.
But Sonic and Shadow stared, looking into each others eyes. Shadow stares at Sonic, having a questioning face. Sonic gets more and more nervous looking.

"Shadow! What are you doing?! DESTROY THAT MEDDLING HEDGEHOG!", Eggman yelled.

Shadow never said a word as he stared at the blue colbalt hedgehog, who was acting so strange.

Sonic POV

"..."
Why can't I move?! All of Mobius is depending on me! Get a grip, Sonic!
Don't let your rival distract you!

I finally move to fight Shadow, as he had moved too. It's not that I don't want to, but I don't know how long it was to snap back to reality.. not that it matters now, but the time right now is to continue the fight!

Narrator POV

The ebony hedgehog and colbalt hedgehog are now fighting it out. As they fight, they suddenly vanished from the base of the evil Dr. Eggman.

Where could they have disappeared to...?
