Chapter 2

We pulled out of my long drive way and drove into town.

The town I live in is really small. It's mostly land with no buildings for miles. The nearest mall is in the next town.

We drove in silence which led me back to thinking about the dream I had.

Why would a boy with every thing he can ask for have a dream so real like that.

I have a amazing life I'm not going to lie. I have a amazing boy friend, this awesome job, and great friends.

My thoughts were interrupted when Jamie's voice came through.

"Sorry, what," I asked.

She gave me a what the hell look and asked "What is wrong?".

I shook my head and said "nothing,".

We soon arrive at the mall and went in. We shopped at the stores I liked.

As we was walking this one store called my name. It was a new store because I never seen it here before.

I decided to walk in and take a look around. As I walked in the feeling of home hit me.

I was greeted by this old lady who was behind the self.

I walked to this self that had tons of neck laces on it. One of them out of them all stood out. It was a blue diamond necklace with sliver wrapped around it.

"How much is this," I asked picking it up.

"11.55" the old lady said. "ill take it!" I said and gave her the money.

I walked out of the store and met up with Jamie. She was laughing with her old friends so I decided to go to the restroom.

I walked in the men's rest room and put my bag down and grabbed the necklace and put it on.

I walked back out and met up with Jamie again. We walked back to her car and went home.

When we got home Jamie said she will be back and left.

I let myself in to my house and went upstairs to my room. I sat the bags down on my bed and took off my jacket.

I went back down stairs and went to the front room. I grabbed my laptop and sat on the couch.

I got on facebook and just scrolled through the news feed, when the sound of my door bell rung.

I got up off the cough and turned the porch light on. I open the door and yelled with joy.

I jumped in his arms and was shocked with a burning feeling. I let go off him and looked at him.

"Nathan.." he said. I knew something was wrong with him because the way he said my voice.

"James, what is wrong" I asked. I was really on the edge. Me and James been together for 6 years so I know when he is hiding something.

"I'm breaking up with you," he said and turned around and left.

I fell to the ground. How can this be happening, we have been going so well.

I got up and looked out the window. There was another person in his car. When he opened his door the light turned on which showed who it was.

He got in and kissed her. My heart just stopped and I slowly backed away from the window. I stopped when I hit the stand. I slide down the wall and hid my face in my legs.

The man I thought will never hurt me just left me for a girl. I got up and went to the couch, I picked the laptop up and changed my relationship from engaged to single. Yes, I was engaged.

I through the laptop down and went into the kitchen. I got a glass of my old wine and went up stairs. I grabbed my cell phone noticing I left it here this morning. I called my sister and she didn't pick up so I put it down on the bed.

I laid my head down on my bed and soon cried my self to sleep.

I woke up and just stared up at the celling. Flashbacks of last night came through. Tears fell down my face and I wiped them with my sleeves.

I dragged myself out of bed and walked deadly down stairs. I went into the kitchen, I stopped when I saw that there was a voicemail. I clicked it and walked to the refrigerator. 

The voice on the phone said I was needed at the hospital in two towns away. I got my shoes and jacket on and picked up my car keys and cell phone and I took off to my car.

I arrived at the hospital and ran to the desk.

"I was called from this hospital, My name is Nathan Foster." I said really fast. The women behind the desk gave me a rude look and said, "Room 1155".

I ignored her attitude and went searching for room 1155. As I was walking through the hallways I kept repeating 1155. I stopped, why does that number like to pop up every where. I just shrugged my shoulders and continued down the hallway.

I finally found room 1155 and went inside. There in the bed was.. none other then.. Jamie..!?!
