Chapter 6 - A Spirit's Anger.
The Guardian had been summoned before the council yet again, they all had a rather natural look upon each of their faces but the Guardian questioned, What was their verdict?
"Remove your mask before us."
Quickly the Guardian quickly removed her mask revealing her full face to the council, her emerald eyes looked to Ryuu, the Dragon.
"We have had a long discussion. As you know, your mother before you had also done what you did when the moon was up. She had also wanted a man to enter this forest without being marked."
"Your father."
The Rabbit said, the Guardian was surprised, she never knew a thing about her father, only the fact that he was mortal and died sometime before she was born. The only story she was told was, that he loved her mother very much but did not wish to have a child and would reject it, that hurt her mother more than anything. And one night the spirit's marked him as he was going to do something to the Guardian herself. And her mother was forced to extinguish him without hesitation. The Guardian couldn't imagine how much pain her mother was in, having to kill the one person you come to love? Impossible the Guardian thought.
"Tell us. What is this mortal man to you?"
The Ox, Ushi asked the sudden question,
"I have nothing towards the man. But I know he won't harm this forest or it's inhabitants. Which is why he should live without the mark."
There was silence, no one was moving an inch or saying a word, Tora finally broke this silence with a growl.
"We will never trust him. But we shall let him into this forest. If, however he becomes a traitor. We will not treat him with mercy."
The Guardian couldn't help but feel glad that Madara could go in and out of this forest as if he is one of the worth.
"Thank you, my friends. On the chance he betrays us, please let me deal with it. Don't let the shadows take him."
All of the Zodiacs nodded to her request and slowly faded as the sun finally was above the horizon, but before they did disappear Ryuu said one last thing to the Guardian.
"Do not make us regret this decision, dearest Guardian."
The guardian gave a curt nod and replaced her mask, even if Madara was to betray them, she would love to handle it personally, as he has no ties to this forest so it would be easy for her.
She waited. And waited.
What happened? He said to met her here, did he not? She was leaning against a large rock that stood near the border of the forest,
"This is the usual time..."
She wondered as to when her new acquaintance would appear. Within her mind she was debating whether if he were to show,
"What am I doing here. I have other pressing matters. It is not like he promised."
She spoke out aloud. Her thought process stopped when she heard some footsteps coming towards her, she quickly jumped up and behind a tree hiding from whoever approached, her senses told her it was not the Uchiha she knew. He had not yet stepped over the border so she could not tell who it was, He was silent and looking into the forest and around. There was not a spirit anywhere near the border so she did not know what to do, but she felt no intention from him until the man stepped over the border,
"Hello? I thought I saw someone...is anyone there?"
The Guardian stayed silent, knowing that if she were to be seen, she would have to erase his memories. Suddenly out of no where was she grabbed from behind, how could she not sense this one beyond the border? It was not possible! What was happening?
