Katy had to spend a week in the hospital so they could see if she was safe to go home. I stayed there and my mom tried to visit as much as she could around her work schedules. After three days in the hospital they found out Katy had lung cancer. She had to get a tube in her throat and she had to get vaccines. She stayed strong and I was glad, she was using her fighting instinct. She has always been the strong one and I'm glad she is using the instincts she said she never had. After the week was over the doctors let her go home because she was getting better, she could eat and drink by herself and she can run on the treadmill again. She came home and she was doing really good she became herself again and we were happy again a perfectly normal family until it happened.
