Ace Up Our Sleeve

***A Few Months Later***

It was a few months after the fight between Brandon and Enzo. In that time, Enzo got suspended and Brandon won the NXT Championship but lost it to Eric Young with the help of Sanity. But, the WWE Draft called up Liv. Both of them were upset that they couldn't see each other as often as they like. Liv tries to Facetime Brandon after every Smackdown Live and after every NXT show. But both of them have said that it is not the same. Liv had just finished a match against Carmella and was walking up the ramp to go backstage. She walked through the curtain to see Brandon sitting on a crate, excitement fill her.

Liv:"Babe!"

Liv jumped up onto Brandon and Brandon held her up. She kissed Brandon long and hard.

Liv:"What are you doing here?"

Brandon:"I got the next two weeks off. So I decided to come see you."

Liv hugged Brandon as Brandon hopped off the crate. Liv wrapped her legs around Brandon as he stood straight up. Liv hopped off and pulled him down for a kiss.

Liv:"I love you."

Brandon:"I love you too."

Brandon held Liv's hand as they kissed. Liv pulled away and try to pull him away. Brandon pulled Liv towards him and picked her up and put her on his back. Brandon could hear Liv giggle as she held on to him.

Brandon:"Where are we going?"

Liv:"Catering."

Brandon walked to catering as Liv started talked to him.

Liv:"So, do you know what is happening tonight?"

Brandon:"No. What's happening tonight?"

Liv:"Brock Lesnar is going to be here, challenging someone to a match at the Royal Rumble."

Brandon:"Who is gonna answer the call?"

Liv:"I don't know. I just know everyone on the Smackdown Live roster has to surround the ring."

Brandon:"Well, I will be waiting for you."

Brandon walked into catering and let Liv. Liv kissed Brandon's cheek as she walked over to the other women. Brandon walked over to where Sami, Kevin, and Aj were sitting. He pulled up a seat to the surprise of all three of them.

Brandon:"Sup guys."

Kevin:"I'm not the only one who is seeing Brandon right?"

Sami:"Hey Brandon, what are you doing here?"

Brandon:"I got time off, so I decided to come see Liv."

Aj:"Nice, but we have to go."

Brandon:"I know, Brock Les..."

Brandon got interrupted by someone running up and hugged him tightly. He looked down and saw bright orange hair.

Brandon:"Hi Becky."

Becky:"What are you doing here?"

Brandon:"For the third time today. I got some time off. So I decided to come see Liv."

Becky:"How nice."

Liv was sitting with the other women on the other side of catering watching Brandon.

Naomi:"You got lucky Liv."

Liv smiled at the compliment.

Liv:"I know. He's the best."

Charlotte:"I can see. Look at him."

Carmella leaned over to Liv.

Carmella:"So how is he?"

Liv:"How is he what?"

Carmella:"You know. When you guys "wrestle" in the bedroom."

Liv:"If you must know. He is amazing."

Carmella:"Good for you."

Liv looked around and saw the superstars started leaving as she didn't realize that the Brock Lesner segment had started. Daniel was on the stage calling out the roster. The fans watched as the Smackdown Live roster started to surround the ring. Brandon watched as he was the only one in catering.

Brandon:"They have no idea."

Brandon waited till everyone was at ringside when he ran to the gorilla. When he got to the gorilla, he saw Shane standing then. Brandon walked up to him.

Shane:"You nervous?"

Brandon:"Were you nervous when you jumped off the cell?"

Shane:"Good point."

Brandon:"Exactly"

Shane:"Did anyone question why you were in your ring gear?"

Brandon:"No, I thought someone would."

Shane:"Alright, do you remember your cue?"

Brandon:"Isn't it just when my music hits."

Shane:"Yes, it's coming up."

Shane and Brandon watched Brock, Paul, and Daniel in the ring with the Smackdown Live roster surrounding the ring.

Paul:"So Mr. Daniel Bryan. Which one of your superstars will you put up against the RAINING! DEFENDING! UNIVERSAL CHAMPION! BROCK LESNER!"

Daniel:"Well. I can see none of the Smackdown Live superstars are eager to jump into the ring with Brock. But we have an ace up our sleeve."

Daniel put the mic down and pointed at the stage. Everyone waited to see who Daniel was talking about when the lights went out.

Shane:"Brandon, go out and crouched down. Wait till the lights came back."

Brandon ran out and crouched down with his back towards the ring. He smirked as his theme filled the arena. He shot up with the lights and spun around. He looked around the arena and listened to the fans cheering loudly as most of the superstars were surprised to see him.
