You felt yourself being shook back and forth. Right out of your bed. In front of you was Georgie. Yellow rain coat and everything. You stumbled back a bit.
"N/n? Are you coming?" He stepped forward. You let out a choked sob. Feeling queasy. Looking at this illusion that looked so much like Georgie.
Then something terrifying happened. Georgie's face slowly melted away revealing a horrifying clown. A clown with an over drawn smile going past where his eye brows should be. He was holding a red balloon.
"Y/n you'll float, too!" The tall clown edged closer. You scooted further back until you hit the wall. You curled into a ball, hoping the ugly thing would just go away.
Then your door burst open. Standing in the doorway was Bill. He looked like he hadn't slept in days, even though he probably just woke up. Once Bill saw the clown, it disappeared without a trace. It was like nothing even happened, the only thing left in It's wake was you in tears, and a shocked Bill.
It took a minute, but Bill walked over to you, pulling you into a tight hug. You cried into his shoulder and he cried into yours. You were both crying for different reasons. You were crying because you saw your dead younger brother. Bill was crying because he almost lost his younger sister.
Once you had fallen asleep. He picked you up, and tucked you into your bed. Then he left to get a book. He thought he wasn't going back to sleep that night, but he knew you weren't going to have a peaceful rest.
He was right. Nightmares plagued your dreams.
~~~~Dream~~~~
You were falling. Into almost nothing. Just complete and utter darkness. That was until you hit the end of the darkness. You hit the ground hard. You could feel your bones shake within your body.
You stood up only to have your legs buckle beneath you. Falling to the ground once more. Then the lights seemed to turn back on. Henry Bowers appeared in front of you, but not looking at you.
He was beating up Mike. A person you just met you trusted almost as much as your own family. Was being pummeled by this douche. All you could do was watch. Unable to speak or even move.
Then he turned as Mike hit the floor with a thunk. Next was Beverly. The girl you wanted to hate, but just couldn't seem to. She was just so nice. She didn't go down without a fight, though. She landed three solid punches before meeting the same fate as Mike.
Next on the drawing board was Ben. He was so nice. Only a part of the losers for a week, but arguably one of the most important members. He was pushed, kicked, and shoved. You wanted to scream, but your voice wouldn't work. He fell.
Next was Stanley. Your friend since fourth grade. He was quiet, but so loud at the same time. You ripped your arm from whatever restraints were holding you back. The rest of your body still stuck, you reached out to Stan. He tried reaching back, but he was knocked down.
Eddie was next. A boy afraid of his own shadow. Something was knocked out of his hand. It landed on the floor near you. You freed one of you legs. You stretched to the small item. It was his inhaler. Grasping it in your hand tightly. That was until Eddie disappeared. Right after the inhaler did to.
Your older brother was in front of you. You got your arm out of the weird feeling it had. You wanted to get to him so bad. He saved you so many times. You just wanted to help him out just this once. Your best friend. Born only twelve hours apart. You reached for him just like you did Stan. Your fingers brushed his. That didn't save him.
Richie was there. Your other leg was pulled out of this invisible force that was keeping it there. You jumped into Richie's arms. He pushed you off.
"I'd rather die than touch you!" He disappeared right after that.
Then a crazy monster slowly became visible. It was a mix of all your friends. Like a blender mixed them into a human smoothie. You were frozen in place. Not because of an invisible force because you were transfixed on the horrible sight in front of you.
~~~~end of dream~~~~
You woke up in a cold sweat, You told yourself that you wouldn't cry. So you ran to the bathroom and threw up, your dinner. Bill fell asleep in your window seat. The moon shining on his face. He was adorable, and you couldn't think of a world where you weren't his little sister.
You climbed back in bed. You had no idea of what to do. You wanted to sleep, but you knew if you fell asleep monsters would haunt your unconscious state. So you looked at the ceiling. Something uninteresting. It helped you focus.
