Tree Bros Fluff

Evan's POV

Connor and I were cuddled under our favorite tree or my favorite. It was the one I fell out of. I liked how this tree made me remember falling, it made me chuckle at how stupid I was back in high school. I snuggled up closer to Connor, breathing in his scent (au where Evan or Connor is a vampire?)He wrapped his arm tighter around me. I loved the moments where we were both silent, thinking about our own things and letting all the stress go. Speaking of stress, Connor and I helped each other with whatever we had, like...he helped with my anxiety and I helped with his depression. We were both happily dating now and finally at peace.

Connor's POV

I AM NOT OKAY! ([I promise], yes I am a little emo, love me, Gerard Way is god) Today is the day that I'm proposing to Evan and I am so nervous. We started dating in high school and so far he's made me the happiest man ever, well...besides the fact that I was depressed BUT HE HELPED ME WITH THAT SO YAY HAPPINESS! I turn my body towards him, yet I need to let go of him. I sigh at the loss of touch but it can wait for just a minute.

3rd Person POV

"Evan babe," Connor said quietly. I didn't want to disturb the beautiful scene of the yellow fields.

"Yes, sweetheart?" Evan replied.

Connor got on one knee. Evan knew what he was doing and out of shock he covered his mouth and started welling up with tears. "..baby..?" Evan whispered. He had never been so emotional over Connor.

"You have helped me through thick and thin," Connor began, "and you have never let me deal with anything on my own, no matter how much I told you that I could deal with it on my own. You know me more than anyone else, heck even myself. Ever since high school, you have made me a better person. You got me out of smoking cause you knew it was bad for me, you got me to stop cutting so, I've been clean for about 8 years! I would love nothing more than to live every day with you, wake up next to you, and to be with you, officially. Evan Hansen, will you marry me?"

Evan jumped onto Connor, flooding him with kisses. Both boys had fallen back so Evan was on top of Connor. "Yes yes yes a million times YES!" Evan cheered in Connor's face. They began laughing and occasionally planted kisses on each other's faces.

Evan and Connor had gotten up and chilled for a few seconds until Connor got out the ring again. It was a beautiful diamond ring in the shape of a circle. It glimmered in the sunlight as Connor slid it on Evan's finger.

"It's so beautiful, how do I explain it?" Evan asked. Connor slowly kissed Evan once more.

"Being by my side is enough to tell me how much you love me."
