It's the next day and all Tessa is trying to do is study for the upcoming math test. The teacher said that this test would be a difficult one. During lunch, Tessa sees that Jake isn't around which makes her happy. She sat down alone and started studying her notes.
A: Hey! What are you doing right now? T: Just studying for Ms. B's test. Where's Kylie? K: I'm right behind you. A: Ah! K: Got you. hahaha A & K: So what are you wearing for the homecoming? A dress? Something scandalous? Tell us! T: I'm going to dress up so differently. You want to know? A & K: Yes! T: My.. Sweatshirt and sweatpants. (She laughs) A & K: Oh damn it. You got us excited for nothing. But what are you really going to wear? T: Probably in jeans and a shirt. Nothing special. A: Why?! T: I never really go to special events, so I don't really have anything to wear. It's okay.
Ayla and Kylie started groaning because of what they're going to do for Tessa to wear a dress.
A: You have to wear a dress. T: I don't want to! K: Or else I'm going to hook you up with somebody. T: Your not really serious are yo- K: Yea we are! You got 5 seconds. 5 4 3 T: Fine! Fine! A & K: Yay! Were going to get the dress for you so you could be surprised. T: Damn it. Fine. But don't over do it.
By next week, a box was shipped. Tessa's cousin was staying with her for the while and found out she's going to Homecoming.
C: Ouhh! Let me do your makeup! T: For what? C: The Homecoming stupid. T: Nah. C: NO IM GOING TO DO IT AND YOU WONT DO ANYTHING. T: Yeesh, fine.
On Friday evening, her cousin started to do her make up. She wore the dress and went to school.

T. POV: "Why is it so loud. I can just go home right now."
As soon as she turns her back, Kylie and Ayla started yelling out Tessa's name.
A: Ouh! You look dressed up! (wink wink) K: Mostly because of us haha. T: Are we even gonna do anything here? A: Just come and see! Don't wanna spoil anything for you.
Tessa sat down even thought Ayla and Kylie insisted for her to dance. She refused.
K & A: Have fun sitting there. If you want to join, join us anytime! Please!
They started to walk away and going to the dance floor. Tessa just sat there listening to her own music until people started to yell Tessa's name.
T: What's happening? A: Apparently, the Dj told the crowd to call someone to the dance floor so they could do a dance off. They called out other people, and one of them is you. T: Aha, this must be a joke. Why would they call me? K: I don't even know. But you can't back down. If you do, who knows what will happen to your social life. T: HAH! Like I have one. But why not, I got nothing to loose.
Tessa started to walk through the crowd. Each person staring at her as if she's the star of the show. She sees other people come up. And wow, I do have the worst luck when it comes to these. Why now.
