Raes pov

I stare at the clock. minutes, no hours have flown past. I can't sleep, I've never been a big sleeper, although the little body next to me looked like she could for days. Anything could have happened to her, she doesn't want to say what did though. I want to ask all these questions but she's seems so peaceful and as if this was to be the first times she's slept in a while. I'm just glad she's alright. I closed my eyes finally being able to catch some rest. But it felt too short, rays of sunshine shon through the window as it started to rise from its own slumber. I looked next to me.
"Mm ten more minuets..." Unique slurred the last word, I couldn't help my self but giggle slightly at her face. Uniques hair was a mess, and her face was adorable... something happened and whatever it was I was going to find out.
"Mmm ughh, hm? R-Rae? How- where... what?! Oh, oh yeah I remember..." she slightly laughed uneasily and then yawned, did she forget that I brought her home last night?
"Goodmorning?" I was confused, why was she so suprised to be found in my room? She's been in here multiple times.
"Huh? Oh morning, your... room looks nice." She proceeded. "I like the... colour of the walls."
"Sure." I slurred "do you want to get up or do you want to stay in bed longer?"
"Umm... probably get up." We both stumbled into the family room which was next to the kitchen, Unique sat down at the table and I made us breakfast. My parents already left to go do work around the town.
"D'you want toast or cereal?" I asked
"Toast will do thanks."
"And do you want apple or orange juice?"
"Apple please." She seemed really tired, like when she was younger... I can't help myself anymore.
"Hey, is it alright if I ask you questions about what happened when you were gone?" There was no response. "Unique?"
"I'm...just not ready to answer any questions. I promise when I am you guys will be the first to know."
"Ok..." we ate and headed off to the others, they'll be happy to know that she's ok.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Abia and Tal yelled at the same time. I looked over to Unique who seemed petrified. It was kinda funny, but I stood up for her.
"Guys, listen. She's been through some stuff and doesn't want to say at the moment, I think we should just give her some space, and let her deal with whatever she's dealt with." They all nodded there head in agreement.
"Good, now I think we should all just continue with our lives, or what's left of it, the way we always have."
"Ok..." Tal cut me off, " I will, only if Unique tells us what happened." Everyone looked at Tal and then Unique, I wanted to tell everyone to leave her alone but my own curiosity kicked in.
"I... don't really..." There was a long pause, " feel like talking about it guys, but like Rae said, I promise I will say when I'm ready."
"Your ready now aren't you?" Lena budded in.
"No... I'm not."
"Then when will you be?" Abia called out.
"Soon." I could her the tremble in Uniques voice. She was scared, almost shaking. Everybody started talking over each other bursting with questions, Unique looked like she was about to cry. Why was she so scared? I noticed she was slowly pacing backwards. Until she ran.
"UNIQUE!" I called out running after. She was fast, everyone followed behind. But we lost her in the distance.
"Great, nice you guys." I said sarcastically "now we're never gonna find her!" Everyone looked at me confused.
"Why are you so worried about Unique? You've never been close to her before, why now all of a sudden?" Lena question. I backed down a little trying to come up with a response, I didn't really know why myself.
"I don't know, I just care about her like I do with all of you guys. And the worlds coming to an end, I want to spend every moment with you." They seemed to believe it.
"Listen, I think it's best... If I just go looking for her, she might get... scared if one of you starts going on and on with your questions."
"Why would she get scared?" Tal asked
"Didn't you guys see her? She was practically shaking. I just... let do this, ok?" They agreed with my terms, and I started to look for her.
She couldn't have gotten that far, could she? No. She was fast but not that fast. Kept walking, I went to her house first and asked her parents if they had seen her. They haven't. I walked to the school, the shops, the markets. Nothing, not a single soul. I think everyone's probably on the outer skirts scaring off the rogue ones.
"Ugh this is hopeless!" I yell out in frustration. I sat on the ground, I looked up at the sky. 'I'm not going find her huh?' After just that one thought my mind went in all different places. I didn't even know where half of came from. I slowly walked around the place to then realise a familiar sense. This place... it was the place I found unique! Maybe she came back here? I doubt it but it's worth a try. Walking cautiously around.
"UNIQUE?" I yelled, no reply. I started to feel uneasy. I looked around, in the corner of my eye I saw a door that was opened. I walked inside to her noises. A familiar voice. I didn't want to call out, I've seen too many thriller movies to know where that leads. I hear the voice again but it's more clear to what it- she is saying... Unique?
"Your just lucky that no one was to suspicious, otherwise I would've punished you...mhmhm."
"No one is to touch her, right imp?"
"Right." What...? Was she... having a conversation to her self? My curiosity got the best of me again.
"Unique?" I heard a lot of scurrying and foot steps across the floor boards. I walked around the corner. Unique was perched on a table with her legs crossed.
"Oh Rae, what a pleasant surprise." She seemed to back to her normal age but, she was wearing a witch outfit?
"What's... with outfit?"
"Oh this? I got bored and decided a change in clothes was in order. The real question though." She got up and walked over to me, she was so close. " what are you doing here?" Her voice sounded seductive and calm. Almost as if nothing had happened.
"You ran off... so I came looking for you..." she was inspecting my face. It was... weird. Why was she doing that? Shes changed, again.
"We should go, everyone's worried. Again."
"Aww do we? It's nice being alone with you." What does she mean? She's never acted like this before. And the way she looks. Something happened. And I will find out what.
