Just like any other day, I was sitting alone at lunch having my food.
"Um.... H-hey Laura."
I looked up to see the school jock, Joseph looking at me. He was blushing a beet red shade.
Yes, the jock blushes too.
I slightly smiled and replied, "Hi Joseph."
A smile made it's way to his face and he lowly said, "You.... You know my name?"
"Of course, I do." I said with me small smile.
"Would you mind if I join you?", he said without stuttering this time.
"No, not all. Have a seat."
He smiled placing his tray on the table and sitting down on the seat next to me.
I have had a crush on Joseph since forever. He was a really nice guy. Sweet, soft and trustworthy, unlike any other guy at school. He was hot as hell with a really good and muscular body. Overall, he was just perfect.
He wasn't like any of his friends. He always stood up for me whenever his friends bullied me.
"I'm sorry for what my friends said the other day.", he said snapping me out of my thoughts.
"It's fine. It's not your fault." I said shaking my head giving him a small smile.
"So.... I was thinking. Would you like to go out with me sometime? Like you know grab dinner or something...." He said trailing off.
WTF!? Is this really happening!? My crush just asked me out!?
I was beyond shocked.
I turned towards him and saw him looking at me with a faint blush on his cheeks. He seemed worried.
"Sure, I'd love to." I said giving him a small smile.
His eyes instantly lit up. He gave me a huge smile.
"Okay then. I'll pick you up at 7 in the evening today?"
"Okay. I'll be ready." I said as the bell rang signally that the lunch break was over.
He kissed my cheek before getting up from his seat before saying, "See you tonight, babe."
I nodded with a huge smile on my face.
Today was different.... Very different.... Good different....
