Bringing him home

I walked over to the cradle warily. 'Did Dad have another kid? Is that why he would never allow me and Mom to come here?' I walk closer and peek in. 'Whaaa?'

When I look in, it's a little Bendy cuddling a teddy. He looks up at me with his pie cut eyes. He laughs.

I pick him up carefully and cradle him. "Hello there..."

He looks up and blinks at me. He is defiantly the cutest thing I've ever seen.

  "Evelyn? What are you doing?" Sammy Laurence came into the room.

I looked at him, hiding Bendy. "I'm looking for my father. He asked me to bring my old cradle, and I did."

Sammy nods. "Ah, many thanks! But, I'm afraid you'll have to leave now. I'll tell Joey you were here."

  "Thanks, Sammy!" still holding Bendy, I walked out of the workshop and got into my car.

I pulled him out of my jacket, and set him on my lap. "Looks like we need to go to Walmart and get some stuff, right Bendy?"

The small creature blinked at me.

  "Right...You're just a baby Bendy, not a grown Bendy..." I sigh. "Well, I'm going to have to hide you some how..." I look around my car. Ahha! I grab my old GAP sweatshirt and slip it onto Bendy. Of course, it's to big, but when I hold him, he looks like a normal baby.

I step out of the car after turning it off, and lock it. When I walk into the store, the greeter asked me something. 

  "Awww~ How old is your little bundle of joy?" she takes a step closer.

I take a step back. "He doesn't like strangers...and he's only a month old."

She goes back to standing where she was. "Ah...I see, well the baby section is over....there!" she points to a section labeled "Child and infants". I thank her and walk towards it. 

After picking up the things I needed, I payed and went to the car. When we got home, I was exhausted. 

  "I think I'll make you some formula, than it's bedtime for mommy..." I sigh.

He looks up at me. And blinks.

I walk over to the stove and started boiling the water. I bounce him on my hip, slightly worried if my dad comes home and finds him. 'Nah, Dad hasn't been home in 12 years, it's unlikely he'll be home anytime soon.'

I took the now ready bottle and sat down on the couch, and started to feed Bendy.
