Three weeks had gone by.

Three weeks since Kora and Yeol's hidden relationship came to an end.

Three weeks since they had last talked or seen each other.

Kora started feeling lonely and almost dared herself to call him, but she threw her phone across the room instead.

Even when she went to go get herself a new one with her friend Hyeri, who was technically her translator in this foreign country, she later received a text.

A text from his number.

"Why did you text him my new number?" Kora asked, setting aside her study guide, facing her friend. Hyeri, who was eating, stopped immediately and slowly looked up at Kora. Realizing she had been caught, the older girl muttered a curse word under her breath.

"Because you two need to talk, that's why."

"I have nothing to talk with him. What's done has been done—it's over between us."

Hyeri scoffed, "He doesn't seem to think so."

"Poor guy keeps missing you."

"Have you been meeting with him?" Kora was skeptical about the new information and why on earth would her ex-boyfriend miss her, if he dumped her? She didn't understand.

"Duh. I work at Legend entertainment, I'm just bound to run into him!" She shuddered. "And that Taeho guy, he's uncomfortable to be around."

"Right." The other girl rolled her eyes, grabbing her study guide once again, hoping to finish her hangul work sheet.

"Yah! Put that down and listen to me!"

"You're lucky I have respect for this country's customs." Kora sighed, closing her book. Hyeri laughed, kicking her under the table. "And you're lucky I yell at you in english all the time."

"But on a more serious note, I know you miss him too. He's texted you, I assume?"

"Yeah...I haven't replied, like at all."

"Well, you should. Maybe say something you wanted to say last time you were in the same room. It could help you get closure, you know?"

"Oh please. Even thinking about him gives me anxiety." Kora sipped on her drink, her throat feeling dry all of a sudden. This always happened when she thought about Lee Yeol, that charismatic man that damned her pathetic heart.

Hyeri rolled her eyes at her dear, but stupid friend. "This is Yeol we're talking about here, who comes off as smooth and charming in front of cameras at events, but trips over a pebble of a rock while he's standing still."

"He looks awfully cute when he trips–" Kora gasped as Hyeri slammed a book down on the table.

"There you go again, just talk to him already!" When Kora said nothing and stayed quiet, Hyeri saw no choice and decided right in that moment to talk matters into her own hands. That is why she placed a tip on the table for their waiter, subtly dumped her books into her bag and then snatched Kora's phone from her grasp, dashing out the chair and out the shop's door.

"Did she just—Hey!" Kora yelled in frustration and kicked at the chair, now flustered when everyone turned to look at her outburst. She sheepishly fanned her face, placing her study guides into her back and running out the door. She groaned in annoyance when she caught no sign of Hyeri, who had her phone. Only lord knows what she was going to do, although Kora had a pretty good damn idea—Hyeri was going to contact Yeol.

Kora pulled on her hair as she walked in the direction of where Hyeri ran off to, thinking she was correct and would find her soon enough to condemn her. Unbeknownst to her, Hyeri went off in the opposite direction and was laughing inside the clothing store a few blocks away, smiling in satisfaction at the text she had sent Yeol as 'Kora'. Hyeri would be damned if those two didn't make up or at least go back to being acquaintances. She went through so much trouble to get them to be interested in each other and actually date, especially since Yeol had been solely focused on making his own music as a new solo artist after the disbandment of Dreamers and as for Kora—well, she had been practically married to her job as a music producer since her senior year of high school back in America.

Although it was Hyeri who set them up together and now she felt like she had to do something about them. She knew what had to be done and only prayed it would work out in the end.

Hopefully.
