Chapter 1.
It was a bright and early morning here in New York. You could already hear the streets buzzing with car horns, footsteps, and some street music that pops up every Friday. If you've never been to New York, than you would think that it's odd to hear the footsteps of the people walking around. The thing is, there's thousands of people here that walk to there jobs, and these people don't take light steps. It's even worse when you're on the street with them. It's crazy loud there.
I'm going to miss this place. I think to myself.
My names Alexandra Jones but, most my "friends" call me Alex. I'm 16 years old and do go to school, just for everyone to know. My height is a whooping 5'1 as neither of my parents are tall and I have quite the skinny frame due to some... issues. My hair is a golden brown that has natural highlights thanks to the sunlight. It's pin straight and goes down to my hips. I have a peachish-tannish skin color as I am out in the sun a lot. My lips are a natural dark pink color. My long lashes cover my eyes when I have to look up, which is almost always. My thin button nose can be horrible sometimes, even though it's adorable. My eyes are the palest I've ever seen a human have. There a blue but look almost white. Almost.
Anyway, you're probably wondering why I said i'm going to miss this place, and there's a very simple answer to it. I have to move to California thanks to my 110% good behavior.
Just kidding. I have to move there because I just so happen to get expelled from my 7th school in 2 months. That makes a total of 24 schools i've attended and been expelled from. This year, might I add.
My parents can't seem to find a school that can control me so they found one in Cali that they think will be just so perfect to fix my "unwanted and unneeded behavior". You just heard a great quote from my oh-so-wonderful mom. Not. My parents haven't even come back to see me for Christmas in 3 years because of "business".
You see, my parents are multi-millionaires that own one of the best hotel lines out there. They just bought me a penthouse apartment and a motor bike that I have used for the past three years while they "expanded the un-expanded". Can you tell that I have very... quotey parents? Is that even a word?
Well if you went to school you would know, wouldn't you Alex?
You have now met my inner voice.
I don't like her.
Anyway, I have to board a plane in 4 hours and all of my stuff, including my bike, is already in California. All I have is some money, my phone, and earbuds. Even though I have to get on the plane in 4 hours, I still had to get out of bed at a great time of 5:30 because of the horrible traffic here. So I force myself out of my bed.
I went over to my shower and still had my almost empty shampoo and conditioner bottles in there since I knew I was going to get clean before I left. I turned the water on and took a shower like any other human would. I just had my music on full blast while belting out the lyrics. I'm normal.
I'm normal.
"HAVEN'T I MADE IT OBVIOUS?"
This is a really good song.
"HAVEN'T I MADE IT CLEAR?"
Yeah, let it out. Just let it all out.
"WANT ME TO SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU?"
I feel way better.
"F-R-I-E-N-D-S"
There's something about that song that just makes me want to go....
