I wrote a fan-fiction! This is the prolouge, so I'm not so sure how it will be... Let me know what you think? Thanks everyone!! :)

“Lana!” I called to her. “Please come back!”

I ran through the forest after her, trying to keep up with her in the rain. It was coming down so hard you could barely hear yourself think. My suit was completely soaked, and my dress shoes were no better; completely ruined.

“Please, Lana!” I begged with her, trying to shout above the rolling thunder, and relentless rain.

She kept running. I could see her red figure zigging and zagging in between trees. Her red dress was the only thing I could see, and it reminded me of red riding hood, running through the forest. I continued to stumble after her, hoping she would slow her pace enough for me to catch up with her. I had no idea where we were going, and I figured she didn’t either.

“Lana, they were fibbing! I have no idea where they came up with those things! Please come back so we can talk about it!” I continued my rambles, telling her of how I had no idea what the interviewer was talking about when she told Lana the things she did. She was more than that to me. She had to know that.

Suddenly, I saw the red ahead of me come to a halt, and I wondered what made her stop. Maybe she had finally come to her senses, and realized I was not the liar at the moment in time. I slowed my sprint to a jog as I neared her. I could hear the others shouting behind us, and I knew that if I were to talk to her, it would have to be quickly.

“Lana, you have to listen to me.” I told her as I got closer. “You have to believe me. That lady, she was on something back there. Those things aren’t true. You must-“

I stopped myself mi sentence as I realized where we stood. Lana’s back was to me as she looked out on the vast ocean below her, a sheer two hundred foot drop off at her feet. The wind rose to meet her hair, and they danced around her face. Her shoulders were pulled higher together then normal and I immediately knew what was going though her mind.

“Lana.” I whispered, my voice barely audible above the rain, thunder, and crashing waves below. “Lana, don’t.”

I stepped forward to grab her arm and pull her from the cliff’s edge, but the minute my fingers brushed her pale skin, she jumped.
