Breathing Blossoms

ACT 2

FADE IN:

INT. BEDROOM - AFTER NOON

XUEHA MIN and MINSEOK PARK sit on the wooden floor in XUEHA's bedroom. XUEHA MIN watches MINSEOK PARK as MINSEOK PARK talks with her head resting on the palm of her hand.

MINSEOK PARK

-And then she asked me to go out with her! I still can't believe it. You know I've liked her since eighth grade and to think she liked me back as well!

MINSEOK PARK flashed XUEHA MIN a bright smile as he turned his body to her. XUEHA MIN looks at him with a look of adoration on her face. XUEHA MIN suddenly gets up.

XUEHA MIN

I'll be right back I need to go to the bathroom!

XUEHA MIN turns around covering her mouth as she runs to the toilet.

INT. : BATHROOM - AFTER NOON

XUEHA MIN quickly shuts and locks the bathroom door. XUEHA MIN hunches over the toilet as she throws up nothing. Tears prick XUEHA MIN's eyes as she grasps the toilet with one hand and her hair with the other hand.

XUEHA MIN struggles coughing as something is caught in her throat. When the object makes it's way out XUEHA MIN looks to see what it was. XUEHA MIN's brown eyes widen as her eyebrows furrow.

XUEHA MIN looks at what seems to be a pink flower petal floating in the toilet water. A knock is heard on the bathroom door. XUEHA MIN snaps her head toward the bathroom door.

MINSEOK PARK

Are you alright Xue? You've been in there for a while.

XUEHA MIN flushes the toilet, standing up.

XUEHA MIN

Yeah, I'm fine Minnie. I'll be out in a minute!

XUEHA MIN's voice comes out scratchy as she talks. MINSEOK PARK walks back to the bedroom. XUEHA MIN lets out a sigh of relief when she hears the footsteps go away.

XUEHA MIN

( Mumbles)

What even was that? Eh whatever I'll look it up later.

XUEHA MIN looks toward the toilet one last time. XUEHA MIN then shrugs and shakes her head as she walks way unlocking and opening the door.
