Mission: Escape From Friendzone! (ON-HOLD)

Shivaay went up to her room first to check if she's there but she wasn't there. He knew where to find her and immediately left to the rooftop. When he reached there, she was throwing pebbles one by one into the man-made lake in their garden from the top. Everytime a pebble lands into the lake, it creates a huge splash due to the height it was being thrown. Shivaay went and settled next to her very slowly. He was being careful to not let her get even more angry.

Once he's settled, he took his bag, took out a dark chocolate ice-cream with a spoon and gave it to her. She stared at him plainly and looked away. She continued breaking the perfect water tension on the lake with her pebbles. Shivaay knew she is very angry and opened the ice-cream container. He began digging into the ice-cream. He isn't very fond of dark chocolate ice-creams, but when it comes to Anika, anything is possible.

'Hmmm!!! It tastes so good Anu!!! I tell you what? You're missing out the greatest chocolaty indulge that exists on Earth right now!', he tried to make her jealous.

She looked back at him and he pretended to indulge himself in the bliss of the chocolate. She snatched the container from him and began eating it all by herself.

'Don't feign too much! You're a very bad actor!', she stated plainly as she went on gulping the ice-cream.

Shivaay smiled and sat closer to her.

'Anu! I'm so sorry! I didn't know that the stupid Advu had placed a bet with you. In fact he's the reason why it all happened and he's sleeping peacefully down there and here I am, trying to manofy you', Shivaay begin explaining  but Anika was in no mood to listen to him. All her concentration was on the ice-cream.

'Anu, I'm talking to you!', Shivaay tried to make her respond but in vain. She had literally transported herself to the chocolate paradise.

'Shivaay!! This is one of the best!!! Seriously!!! I just love this... thank you so much!', she uttered in between.

Shivaay chuckled at the way she was enjoying it and took out something else from his bag. It was the seventh and the final instalment of the Harry Potter series.

'I finally found this!', he said as he showed it to her.

Anika'a eye opened wide. Happiness was at peak. She left the ice-cream container and tried to take it away from Shivaay's hand but he teased her by taking it behind him.

'Not so soon Anu!', he said.

'Okay fine! What you want?', she asked him.

'Nothing much! Just don't be upset anymore!', he said very much genuinely.

Anika smiled wide and said that she's no longer angry and took the book from him. She was so elated to be finally able to read the end even if she has already watched it, reading gives a better, a deeper understanding towards the plot. There were so many things edited out from the original story when it is made into a movie and Anika enjoyed knowing the extras.

Since, Anika has a huge collections of books in her room, her allowance to get new novels and books were banned by her parents. Plus, it's her senior year, hence they want her to stay focused on her studies. That was the reason she couldn't get the final instalment. This made her a little upset but as time passed by her mind kept that issue away and focused on her upcoming projects, assignments and studies.

'Shivaay!!! Thank you so much!!!', she uttered as she pulled him into a tight hug. As soon as she broke away from the hug, she flipped through the pages of the book and filled her nostrils with the smell of the book. It's a feeling beyond description for her. The smell of the pages was like drugs to her and she enjoyed immersing into it. Shivaay on the other hand, even though doesn't know how or what it feels like, he feasted his eyes looking at her being happy like that. And Mission Manofy Anika was successful. She returned back to her normal self. Shivika began sharing what had happened the entire day with each other while sharing the ice-cream.

This whole scene was being watched by two souls that descended from heaven. They were sitting on a branch from a tree quite close to Anika's rooftop.

'They're so cute together!', Saumya exclaimed.

'But what's the point? They don't realize it! Both call themselves best buddies to add to this!', Rudra stated with a little frustration.

'And that is why we are here, right? To get them realize that they aren't just buddies!', Saumya added.

'Yeah! But how are we going to do that?', Rudra asked.

'We need to incorporate several techniques together I guess. As per now, our plan to befriends with Shivaay and Anika backfired badly', Saumya exhaled.

'Shivaay would hate me now after the match!!! But what can I do yaar, that Advaay was keep on praising him so much and Shivaay also quietly accepted everything. He's not even such a great player...', Rudra's complain was interrupted by Saumya.

'Exactly! That is why you had to use your power to win against him right?', Saumya taunted him.

'It as necessary to teach him a lesson. He shouldn't be such a tadibaaz despite his talents', Rudra complained.

'Look who's talking! You yourself is such a huge tadibaaz!!! And yeah, so what if they challenged you?? You should have stayed calm and composed right??? But love angel Rudy's ego was hurt terribly right?? How can he remain quiet after that??? So he jumped into the field and used magics to win. To add to this, you even taunted Shivaay after winning and not to forget the hug with Anika', she taunted again.

'Oh hello! Enough of taunting me! Now tell what happened between you and Anika that being friends with her failed for you! Huh???', Rudra asked her back.

'Woh actually... I didn't want to do it but I had to. Anika and the others in her group were stuck in this chemical synthesis. And I just helped them out by giving the answer. I didn't know that it would hurt her ego and thus making me her enemy!', Saumya said it all in one go.

Rudra began laughing out loud and nearly fell of the branch but Saumya held him in the nick of time and refrained her hands from him.

'Thank you but I need to ask this. What's up with the don't touch me thingy you always do huh? And even if you had to touch me, you'll refrain back. Is there anything???', Rudra asked.

'It's nothing! Let's go now. We need a better plan for those two and we need to write a report on day one as well as complete the homework we've got in college', Saumya avoided the topic and gets down from the tree.

'I'll make you spill it Saumya! One day or another!!!', Rudra thought to himself and gets down the tree right after her.
