My name is Natalie Bond. Here are a few random facts about me
1, I'm an Australian model with over 2.7 million followers on Instagram
2, I LOVE Ethan and Grayson Dolan
3, I'm still in public schooling - I should probably go to home schooling
4, I'm 16 years old
5, and I LOVE the Dolan Twins

Everyday, people come up to me and ask me for shoutouts over Instagram or pretend to be my friend just because I have what they refer to as a "fan base". Now if you want to see a fan base, just go to a single Dolan Twin photo and see how crazy that fan base is.  This story isn't just about my fake friends or how the people at my school know exactly who I am without ever speaking to me. This story is about the day my world turned upside down, forever!

The past 2 months, there had been a rumour going around that my two favourite youtubers - The Dolan Twins - we're going to be holding a competition to find an Australian model to model there new merchandise. Almost every girl at my school had tried to become a model just  to see if they could win the rumoured competition. (Keeping in mind, no body actually knew if this competition was real)

And that's were it all began, when my supposed bear friend, Hayley, decided to enter this mystery competition,
"Nat! Have you entered the competition yet?!" She asked as we lined up for lunch.
"No," I responded, "there was no announcement from the twins about it so I actually doubt that it's real!"
"Yea, you're right, maybe it's a good thing you haven't entered, give the rest of us a chance to be noticed for once" she commented. I paused and looked at her,
"Excuse me." I asked
"Well it's just, you're a proper model with heaps of followers, it's more than likely that you would get chosen because you have sponsors and everything." Hayley replied.  "Oh come one Nat, look at you, tall, brown, skinny, beautiful."
"What about being intelligent, independent....." I get cut off
"Oh who cares about being smart?! You're pretty, that's all that matters!" I look at Hayley in disgust, I'd only been friends with her for about a year now, just before all this modeling started. She stuck by me but now I know why. She's just like everyone else.

Sometimes I really don't like having a "fan base" I feel it's harder to fit in, harder than it ever was.
