Potter vs Jackson

Chapter 8: the quest

Percy looked at Grover and Annabeth. "You'll go with me, right?"

"Of course, seaweed brain."

Percy smiled. "Thanks. I'll get Tyson too." Percy turned to Chiron. "When will we go?"

Chiron replied, "When you have everything packed."

Percy went to his cabin, and asked Tyson if he wanted to go with. Of course, Tyson agreed.

"Yay! We get to fight bad guys again!" Percy laughed when Tyson said this. "Here brother, take this." It was a watch, a jacket, and a hat. "Will be armor for you."

"Thanks Tyson!!!" Percy replied. Tyson gave him one of his back-breaking bear hugs. Percy grabbed all that was his, which wasn't much.

Percy and Tyson walked out their cabin. Percy saw his pegasi, Blackjack.

'Yo boss, we gonna fly again?'

'Yeah Blackjack. I have a feeling this trip will take a while though. Hang on, let me talk to Chiron.'

Percy walked up to Chiron. He turned to Percy. "I have spoken with the gods, the enemy, I fear, is in Britain. Thousands of miles away from here."

Percy thought this was a joke. How could it not be? Chiron looked at him, and smiled. "You do know you can get there quite fast, right?"

Percy looked at him like he was crazy, then he remembered the previous war. He spoke to Chiron. "Mrs. O'Leary?"

Chiron smiled. "Yes Percy. Your hellhound can shadow travel, can he? Here, take some ambrosia and nectar, 100 golden drachmas, one thousand American money, and, how do the british say it? 50 pound, I guess."

He handed these things to Percy. Percy didn't think he was being generous, oh no no no no no, he thought Chiron was crazy. "Will we really need it?"

Annabeth answered for him. "Of course, Seaweed brain."

Percy went down to the training courts, where he found Mrs. O'leary. Blackjack flew by him.

'We ain't takin her, are we boss?'

'No blackjack, we are gonna shadow travel, however, we need you to go to Britain'

'Britain? Really boss? You insane?'

'No, we are serious. Do it.'

'Okay boss, but it may take a while.'

'Alrighty than'

Percy looked at Mrs. O'leary. "Hey girl. Ready to travel? It's gonna be a long ride."
