it is the year 2104. the world has transcendedto a new modern era, where artificial intelligence and gravity-defying vehicles are common items, and where humanity are no longer strangers to interspace travel. mankind has reached a point where technology has advanced to an incredible degree, resulting in the drastic change of the world as they know it—mankind has reached the Singularity.
nearly every single inch of the world is covered in technology. seas, oceans, mountains, deserts—no part of the earth hasn't been discovered. despite this, the earth is heavily polluted, so most of humanity has resorted to residing in cities and towns almost entirely closed off from the outside world. the greatest cities of the world have been rebuilt and modified to adjust to the heavily tainted environment. in fact, these cities, called Neo Cities, with their artificial ecosystem, house citizens with an average lifespan of 72 years.
