I suddenly noticed my sheets getting wet and water rising from the floor. I stood on my bed and looked at everyone else sleeping.
"Hey! Get the fuck up," I yelled and banged on the wall.
"All right, no one panic. Listen to me. Stay calm. Fuck. Loo snorkels, loo snorkels," Charlie said quickly as everyone stood on their beds.
"Loo snorkels," Eggsy asked.
"Showerheads," Roxy shouted.
"Showerheads," Eggsy was freaking out.
"She's right. Fucking go," Charlie agreed as everyone swam with him to the showers and toilets.
"Hey! What the fuck is wrong with the do-," I tried. I would up getting cut off by having to take a deep breath in and water completely filled the room.
Everyone watched as Eggsy tried to get the door open. It was locked and he looked back at the group. My shirt was holding me down so I took it off. I swam from my bed to the big mirror next to the toilets. I put hand against it and saw there was no space. It was a two-way mirror. It was a test and someone was watching. I began to punch the glass hoping to get through and nothing. Eggsy came up next to me, we started punching and we got through with everyone, stumbling to the ground.
"Congratulations on completing your first task. Charlie, Roxy, well done. For those of you who are still confused... if you can get a breathing tube around a U-bend of a toilet...you have an unlimited air supply. Simple physics, worth remembering. Gwen, well done for spotting that was a two-way mirror," Merlin explained.
"She's probably seen enough of them," Charlie said as he and his friends chuckled.
"Yeah, you can all wipe those smirks off your faces. Because as far as I'm concerned, every single one of you has failed. You all forgot the most important thing... teamwork," Merlin pointed to a remaining person in the middle of the room. It was Amelia. I ran to her and started trying to resuscitate her. Roxy came up behind me immediately and wrapped me in a hug.
"So much for classic army technique," I heard Eggsy mutter. Amelia was dead.

It was the next morning and we were all getting over what had happened to Amelia. We stood in front of caged puppies with Merlin looking over us and I was trying to hide my excitement.
"As some of you will have learned last night... teamwork is paramount here at Kingsman. We're here to enhance your skills, test you to the limit. Which is why you're gonna pick a puppy. Wherever you go, your dog goes. You will care for it. You will teach it. And by the time it's fully trained, so will you be. Those of you who are still here, that is. Do you understand? Choose your puppy," Merlin announced.
"A poodle," Eggsy asked Roxy.
"What? They're gun dogs. Oldest working breed. Easy to train," she explained, "A pug?"
"It's a bulldog, innit? It'll get bigger, though, won't it," Roxy shook her head and we smirked, "Shit."
"I wouldn't be laughing Ms. Italian Greyhound," Roxy looked down at my puppy.
"They're faster runners," I replied.
"Hey, rumor has it Galahad is out," Rufus whispered.
"What'd you say," I asked.
"Only for a kiss, love," he smirked.
"I'd rather kiss your dog," I shot back and walked off with my dog, A.J. Eggsy followed.
"Is he gonna be all right," I asked as soon as I walked in and saw Harry unconscious.
"We need to have patience, Gwen. But there's hope, okay? If I were you, I'd concentrate on your training. Make it through the tests. Make him proud, you two," Merlin look to me, then Eggsy who was behind me. The three of us walked out and met with the rest of the recruits.
We were told that we had to run 4 laps around headquarters with bulletproof vests, an AK-27, and our puppies on our sides. We weren't allowed to hold them. We didn't have to stay in-line with the rest of they recruits if we were fast enough.
"Well done, Gwenevere. You made it in first place. Looks like your cross country training has come in handy. Harry would be very proud," Merlin told me as the rest of the recruits caught up.
"How the hell did she get here first," Charlie asked, irritated.
"Maybe it's because I'm better than you, love," I smiled and went inside.
"Hey, nice job," Roxy said next to me.
"Yeah, I didn't know you were in cross country," Eggsy added.
"I didn't know we were aloud to carry our dogs," I replied and walked off with A.J.
I made my bed that night and was ready to sleep. A.J. started to bark so I gave her some food and laid down. As soon as I closed my eyes I felt water splash to the left of me. I shot up to see Charlie and the rest of the boys were laughing at Eggsy. He was soaked and his dog, J.B., was barking.
"Water," Eggsy shouted and pushed Charlie, "Come on, then!"
"Eggsy, forget it," Roxy told him.
"What's wrong, mate? You can't take a joke," Charlie asked.
"This isn't a joke, Charlie," I shot back.
"Seriously, you guys will get thrown out, and it's just not worth it," Roxy reminded us.
"Maybe I don't give a fuck if I get kicked out," Eggsy yelled as he and I tried to get passed Roxy.
"Do it. Come on, you pleb," Charlie teased.
"If he doesn't do anything, I will," I shouted.
"You wouldn't do anything, Sweetheart," he smirked.
"Charlie, fuck off," Roxy shot.
"Aw," Charlie smirked.
"Yeah, go on, walk away," Eggsy called.
"Dickhead," I muttered.
"Come on, J.B. Come on, good boy," Eggsy mumbled, holding the puppy in his arms.
"Agent Kay candidates, fall in," Merlin called. Hugo, Rufus, and I lined up, "Let's go."
"You have exactly one hour to complete the test... starting now," he said and we started. I was the last one to turn it in.
"Good, thank you," Merlin whispered to me.
I went back to our bedroom and laid back down. I was almost asleep until I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"My bed's still wet," Eggsy whispered.
"Sounds like a personal problem," I whispered.
"Please, you're the only one here I know."
"Fine, don't get too close or it'll be the last thing you do."
