I had been stubbornly sitting in my room for a couple of days. I had pushed the bed against the door so he couldn't get in and I was living off of the food and water people kept pushing into my room from the space under the door. I had been trying to text or call someone with my phone but there was no cell service. On about the third day Loki knocked on the door. I looked through the window in the door and yelled "ever heard of wifi?" "Wifi?" Loki repeated in a confused tone. "Never mind."

He paused.

"I never got you're name peasant."

"It's Beyoncé." I replied sarcastically.

"Beyoncé, well that's different." He responded, moving his face closer to the door.

"I was being sarcastic, Sherlock. Did you not have sarcasm back Asgard?"

I could tell he was getting angry. He was trying to calm down his breathing, only slightly succeeding.

"I would just like to know your name."

"It's Avery okay? I know it's ugly but I can't really change it" I answered.

"Avery. Avery. Avery." He repeated. "It's actually quite elegant."

"Ummm, okay? Well what else do you want? Do you need me to dominate the world for you?" I asked, a little confused.

"Would you just open the door?" He said, again, trying to calm down his breath.

I sighed, and pulled the bed away from the door. He pushed open the door.

"Thank you, Avery."

This was the first time I actually got a good look at him. He was actually really attractive. Really attractive. He had fabulous cheekbones, slicked back hair, emerald green eyes, and he was really tall.

"So what do you want?" I said, Loki tensing up his grip.

"Avery, I am taking you to Asgard."

"Loki, as much as I am pleased," I commented, as sarcastically as I could, "I have a life. You know? Like, friends, family, college. I'm not just going to go off with a crack head to a place that probably doesn't exist."

"Well, I will take you back to you chambers and you can gather your belongings and I will take you back to Asgard."

"Chambers? You mean like, a flat?"

"Is that where you live?"

"Yeah, it's in London though." I stated. "I had to take a plane to Germany."

"I can get you there." He said, a smirk coming across his face. He grabbed my hand and we were off.
