As got off my 14 hour flight. I took my first steps into America. I was in San Francisco Airport. I looked to my left and saw an American flag and the another flag under it that was white with a bear that's brown on it. I have no family here or friends. I'm it alone was jut me and myself nobody else. My parents told me a guy from the school should be waiting for me.
I look around and a guy with a black suit and the school emblem on the upper right chest. Holding a sign up that said Annmarie Deloris. I grabbed my luggage and walked towards him. "Hello ma'am I am your chauffeur Ramsey. May I take your luggage?" He asked. "Thank you sir." I replied and handed him my bag "Wow these are light compared to this young man who came earlier. They had to be 50 pounds each." He chuckled
A look of confusion came to my face. "50 pounds? Should I pay you that much?"
He laughed "Ma'am pounds is how we weigh stuff here."
"Ohhhh." The look of confusion left my face. I followed Ramsey to the car.
~20 minutes later~
I walked into the dorm. I heard a few voices. I looked at the piece of paper that had all of my information on it. "Hmmm room 3 upper level girls." I thought to my self.
I hulled my luggage up the stairs and to room with the number 3 on it. I walked it and a guy and and girl where talking. I figured I shared the room with the girl because the upper level was for girls. A rush of shyness and nervousness came over me. I quietly sat my stuff down. "Hello. I'm Annmarie" I said in a friendly way
"Hi I'm Katrina but you can call me Kat" the girl said
"Hello I'm Min Jae " said the guy. He had a slight accent but I couldn't tell what
I opened up a suitcase and began to put my clothing in the empty dresser for me. I hung and up and England flag about my bed and my favorite band poster near it. "As home as it will get" I thought to myself.
Kat looked at me and said "Hey do you want to come with us to get classes?"
"Sure." I replied I followed them to main office.
