Third Person's POV

Marinette has arrived at the palace and is currently standing next to Adrien she is very nervous. He doesn't look to happy right now. Adrien is indeed not happy he can't  lie and say she's not gorgeous even better looking than his girlfriend.  But he said he wasn't going to let her being extremely attractive make him fall for her. So anyway they talked to his parents for a while then Adrien and Marinette went to hius room. He then glared at Marinette.

Adrien: listen I will never love you ok

Marinette: and you don't have to

Adrien: I don't even know why I  have to get married to a pathetic useless human

Marinette: I am not  useless

Adrien: yes you're no match for me

Marinette: well I think it's f-

Adrien then slaps her aa hard as he could telling at her.

Adrien: I don't care what you think you're a useless pathetic human and I don't want to marry you I don't care if  it's for our kingdoms to unite just to let you I don't care about you at all

Marinette then started to cry I mean it hurt like hell she then stood up and ran out the room. While running she ran into someone. She  looked up and saw a red head with blue eyes looking at her concerned.

Tikki: are you alright...

Marinette: y-yes I'm fine  thank you

Tikki: you don't look fine what happened

Marinette: don't worry about it plz I'm fine

Marinette then ran to her room and put an ice pack on her cheek. She also cried herself to sleep. She made a promise to stay away from him or do anything with him i will keep my distance.

( week later)

This whole week Marinette stayed in her room with Tikki bringing her food. Adrien was lowkey worried I  mean he is lowkey guilty. Anyway Chloe was over and it was breakfast Marinette finally came out of the room. She joined everyone for breakfast she had make up covering her dark purple bruise. Chloe then started to feel threatened by her beauty. 

Chloe: hi I'm Adrien's girlfriend Chloe  and he'll never love you but me

Marinette: I know and he doesn't have to I'm Marinette

So Marinette had engaged in conversation with his parents while Chloe and Adrien talked. Chloe was getting jealous on how much his parents liked her and hated her.  So she " accidentally " splashed her water on her . Which washed off her make up Adrien then started to feel more guilty. She covered her cheek and his parents asked her what it was.

Marinette: uh I'm a very clumsy person so you know I fell it should be gone by next week

Mother: do you need any help

Marinette: no I'm fine may i be excused plz

Father: of course

Marinette then got up and left and went to her room.  She changed her clothes and just put on pjs she has nothing to do. Adrien was wondering why she didn't snitch maybe out of fear. Marinette didn't snitch because she's not a snitch and she stronger than that she can handle herself.
