Anbu Naruto

chapter 5

After about another hour I decided to dispell my clones. I fell to the ground clutching my head at the sudden rush of memories. 'nice going kit.'

I hear Kura mock in my head. I had sort through the information for a while until I finally got what I needed. "Oh, so that's how you do it." I say gradually getting up.

 I heard an encouraging yip come from kannako. I smiled at him and carefully filled some of our chakra in my feet. I ran for a headstart and walked up the tree successfully. 

"Wooooh I did it!!" I gleefully yelled. 'i'm proud of you kit any other five years old would be at death's door from all the chakra you used.'

 ' hehe, thanks, kurama.' I looked around and saw it was getting dark. Crap I still need to go see Ayame at the shop. "Come on kannako we have to go see Ayame remember?'

 I say waking him up from his nap. his eyes opened and we start to run as kannako growled and looked behind me. 'Hey Kurama is someone following us?' 

'yeah kit the same person from before.' 'that's weird were they observing me the whole time I was training?' 'yeah, they never left a single time.' 

I start to run a little quicker now that I can see the shop. Once I get there all the lights were off. 'Hey, kit I sense a bunch of chakra signatures inside, be careful...'

 I nod and walk inside."Um hello anyone there?" I call out then the lights flashed on and everyone yelled "surprise!" I jumped back and then relaxed when I saw Ayame, Teuchi-san, and Jiji. I looked around and saw balloons and streamers.

 Everything was nicely decorated for someone's birthday. "Uh who's birthday is it?" I ask confused. I feel kannako jump up on my shoulders and lay down. "It's yours silly!" Ayame said like it was obvious. "Oh yeah, it is my birthday! Wait... is all this for me?"

 I ask hopefully. "Yes, Naruto my boy it is." Jiji said. I felt my eyes tear up as kannako licked my face tenderly. "T-thank y-you guys s-so much!"

I start to cry from the kind gesture and they all came up and hugged me. "It's ok naruto stop crying now. How about we go open presents ne?" Ayame asked, "oh you shouldn't have got me anything this is enough for me." I say worried that I inconvenienced them. Ayame looked surprised at my words.

 She Looked to her father and said to him "he is way to mature for his age." he chuckled and said "you got that right." she turned back to me and said "well we wanted you to have the best birthday so we got you some presents. Would you like to open them?" 

I eagerly nod at her question. We went over to a table that had four presents on it. "Ok Naruto which one do you want to open first?" 

I examine the presents and took a small rectangle box. There was a card on top so I opened that first. It was in a baby blue envelope with a smiley face on the front. I carefully open the flap and see very neat kanji. 

I read it and it says 'dear naruto, I got you this since I have a feeling you will be a very successful shinobi when you are older and follow in your dad's footsteps.

 This is your father's kunai I think he would want you to have it. Love your Jiji.' i smile and give Jiji a hug. I open the box and see a kunai that was custom made. It had a sharp point with two more on each side, also a loop at the end. 

The handle was wooden and had beautiful writing on it. "wow that's really cool thank you so much!" I say speechless. He chuckles as I go on to the next present. it was a nice size box that could fit in my arms snugly with orange wrapping paper. I opened the card first and read it.
