   After a seemingly endless car ride, we arrived at Mika's flat. We awkardly climbed out of the car and I had to practically jog to keep up, his stride was so long. We arrived at a tall, brick apartment building with... a hot pink door. I raised an eyebrow, smirking, and he pretty much exploded. "It grabs your attention, alright?! There are 8 billion boring doors in London, with 8 billion boring people behind them, and I wanted to be different, stand out, is that so bad?!" 

   I jumped back, suprised at his reaction, and quickly shook my head. "No, no it isn't bad at all. In fact, I like it." I said softly, taking his arm. He glanced down at my hand and shook it off, not aggresively but sadly. And it kind of broke my heart. When I first met him back at the club, I'd sensed this cocky attitude and immediately assumed he had confidence to spare. Had that been a charade?

   As he fumbled to fit his key into the lock, I thought on what to do. We walked in and I took a chance. "You know.... I've heard quite a bit of your music. It's really good."  He looked down at me, his eyes lit up and sparkling. "Really?"
