Chapter 2

Next day...

I woke up, and saw Sofia sleeping peacefully. I woke up and looked out the window. I missed CJ. If his parents aren't alive, and they were looking at him they should be proud. They have the most kindest kid I've ever met. I felt sad inside. I didn't know why. If only I knew the truth about my parents.

"Brianna? " Sofia asked. I quickly looked at her.

"Yeah? " I asked.

"I'm really hungry. " she said.

"I'll go see if there is anything to eat. " I said and went downstairs. I looked in the kitchen, and saw nothing. I heard my stomach start to growl. I just saw a big fat muffin. I got it. I just looked at it. I looked up and down at the muffin. "Sofia. " I said. "Come down here. " I continued. I heard her come downstairs with her stuffed animal.

"Yes. " she said.

"Sit down. " I said softly. She sat down and I hid the muffin. "On second thought wash your hands real quick, then come sit down. " I said, she nodded her head, and washed her hands. She came back and sat down. I had my hands behind my back. I pit the muffin in front of her. She started to eat it, but if course my stomach growled. She looked at me.

"You take half, and I get half. " she said. I looked at her and smiled at her softly. I took half and gave her the other half. We both started to eat. "Look at that jar. " she said and pointed at it. I walked towards it and there were cookies. I got a plate and dumped the cookies. On top of the cookies there was a note.

I looked at it confused. I opened it up and gave me directions. I followed the directions to a room. I opened the closet door, and saw nothing. I looked up and saw an arrow.

I followed it and on the side of the closet there was a safe. I used my fire power, and the door of the safe opened. When I opened it all I saw was money.

"Sofia. " I said. She came to me still eating the muffin.

"Yes? " she asked.

"Look. " I said and pointed at the money.

"What is that for? " she asked.

"We can buy food, clothes and a lot more stuff with it. " I said.

"Can I buy a friend for bunny? " she asked.

"Of course you can. " I said.

"Yay. " she said.

"Well buy some food later, right now we have to try to fit in. " I said.

"How do we fit in? " she asked. We went downstairs, and saw some kids. They were in uniforms and they all had bags. I saw a girl mess around with another girl. I walked out.

"Leave her alone. " I said. The two girls seemed to be around six or seven years old. The girl threw the bag on the floor, and ran. I picked up the bag and dusted it off. When I dusted it off I handed it to the girl.

"Thank you. " the little girl said.

"No problem. Where are you going in this uniform and with this bag? " I said.

"I'm going to school. It's mandatory to wear this uniform. And this is my book bag. I put my books, notebooks and pencils in here. " she said.

"Oh alright he careful though. " I said and she nodded her head. I went back inside and Sofia looked at me. I closed the door. "One thing we do to fit in is go to school. " I said and she tilted her head a bit in confusion.

"School? " she asked.

"Yeah apparently. " I said. "Come on let's get ready to look for clothes, school stuff, and go get us in a school." I said and she nodded her head.
