I banged my head against the table
Ugh writers block. I took another sip of my decaf tea. (My mom won't let me drink regular tea.) I'm still not sure why this wasn't working. This was the perfect setting for me to write a story. It was pouring outside , I was listening to chill hop music, and I had my (decaf) tea.
That when I got inspiration.
I was simply going to start off my story with rain. Easy way to start your story right?
Ok...
The rain patterned against the windows, leaving behind big fat raindrops. Tip tap tip tap. I could hear it outside. It was a pleasant afternoon for...
I paused. What was a good name for a character.
After thinking and thinking i finally came up with the main character.
Her name was Mandy. I wondered what Mandy would be like. Maybe she could be who I wanted to be, but if that's what she was, then it would be too perfect.
Next I had to think of a plot.
Hmmm, I thought and I thought. I felt like banging my head against the keyboard

Oops.
I decided to take a break and do something else. I looked outside the window, the rain had stopped and the sun was now coming out.
Then I realized why not write a story about what happened. That would make a good story. Right?
I would have written a story on something different, but too bad this is how boring life can be.
*shrug*
